Day 2 of the MadeHoops Indiana Clash didn't disappoint, as Saturday's slate was packed with high-level matchups and standout individual performances from across the Midwest. From explosive scoring bursts to lockdown defensive efforts and all-around versatility, several prospects separated themselves and set the tone for the weekend. Here's a look at the top performers who turned heads and made noise on Saturday at the Indiana Clash:

Physical forward that was in attack mode from the opening tip. Niko Reed is a heavy left hand driver that welcomes contact. He's got a good blend of size and skill and that makes him a tough cover on the perimeter. He's a tenacious rebounder and has the potential to be a really good defender. Conditioning and consistent motor are questions, but when engaged he's as good of a player that I saw this weekend

[player_tooltip player_id='2560359' first='David' last='Smith'] | 6'5” | Wing | [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 16u

The long and athletic wing put on a full display of his versatility in both ends of the floor. Defensively he showed his ability to be a difference maker playing passing lanes and as a help side shot blocker and rebounder with his length and athleticism. Offensively he's wired to score and does it well from all over. Thrives getting downhill using his length and quickness. He's crafty getting into the lane and has th ability to stop on a dime and rise up over defenders are get all the way to the rim and finish. Also showed nice feel for the game in the pick and roll as a passer. Never got sped up and was able to make crisp accurate passes to any spot on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140339' first='Carter' last='Crum'] | 6'4” | Forward | Indiana Basketball Club 17u Gold

[player_tooltip player_id='2140339' first='Carter' last='Crum'] is the definition of a winner and does whatever his team asks of him. He's a physical 6'4” Forward with a great fundamental offensive game that isn't flashy, but gets the job done. He's not the quickest or most athletic, but he has excellent footwork and knows how to use his body to get easy looks. He's a capable three-point shooter off the catch. He has a soft touch from all over the floor. He's a good screen setter and has good hands that will catch anything. He rebounds at a high level and is a really good passer with excellent court vision.

[player_tooltip player_id='2406430' first='Colin' last='O'Hara'] | 6'10” | Forward | [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] 2027 UA Rise

A really solid big man that produces on both ends of the floor and got better in every game this weekend. He's a mobile big man that doesn't force the issue offensively. He's a capable three-point shooter off the catch. He does a good job sealing off his man on post ups and has a nice jump hook over his left shoulder. Possesses really good hands that catches everything and is always under control on the floor. Has good timing on his cuts to the rim from the dunkers spot and finishes through contact. Uses his size and length to his advantage on the defensive end. Plays with his hands up and fight for position on the block. Strong rebounder that runs the floor extremely well for his size.

[player_tooltip player_id='2907634' first='Corde' last='Hill'] | 6'2” | Guard | [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 17u

There were a lot of bright spots for [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 17u this weekend going 3-0. Hill was able to get going in a big way on Saturday. Struggled a bit all weekend with his shot. He was able to get good looks, but they just wouldn't go down. Stayed confident and attacked the rim in the final game and got to see the ball go through the basket. He's a long and lanky guard with a quick first step that welcomes contact on his drives and has the ability to finish in a variety of different ways. Off the catch, he's a threat from the three-point line, but is best when getting downhill. He's a difference maker on the defensive end. He's able to guard multiple positions with his length and is a guy that can turn defense into offense in a hurry.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140420' first='Nash' last='Sigmund'] | 6'1” | Guard | Indiana Basketball Club 17u Gold

Any gym that [player_tooltip player_id='2140420' first='Nash' last='Sigmund'] steps into, he immediately becomes one of the best shooters there. 6'1” combo guard is a high level shooter with great form and mechanics. He does a good job understanding how to get himself open and when he does, his shot preparation is quick. He's always on balance and every shot looks the same. He continues to get more comfortable on the ball. Showed flashes out of the pick and roll of good court vision and decision making, but when it gets down to it, he's best off the ball running off screens and letting it fly.

Alex Countryman | 6'10” | Center | [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 15u

Alex Countryman was the biggest paint presence in all of 15u this weekend at the MADEHoops Indiana Clash. The 6'10” 2029 Center showed some great potential on both ends of the floor. He fights hard for position on the low block. Has good hands and was patient with the ball in his hands and showed soft touch over his right shoulder. Heavy left hand right now, but showed good footwork. Really good screen setter and even stepped out and knocked down a 3. Moves well for his size, but conditioning has to get better. He was a defensive presence in the paint altering every shot and was a strong rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140443' first='Tait' last='Wetzel'] | 6'6” | Forward | [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 17u

I've been covering [player_tooltip player_id='2140443' first='Tait' last='Wetzel'] for the last three years and the improvements that he's made in just the last year is astonishing. He's become a work horse on the low block when it comes to rebounding while also making the jump with his skill on the offensive end. He's confident off the defensive rebound and pushing in transition. He showed he has a good enough handle and makes good decisions. In the half court he has become a capable perimeter threat that showed he can knock down the three consistently while also being a guy that can do the dirty work. He sets good screens, he's excellent cutting off the ball, and he attacks the glass offensively with intentions of trying to rip the rim off. The potential is finally showing up in the productivity on the floor for Wetzel.
