We first identified O’Hara while make a trip through The Region during the high school season. However, the 6’9″ center really solidified himself as a prospect to watch this weekend for Indiana Game UA Rise 17u. He is an above the rim finisher out of the dunker’s spot, on the roll, and on the rim run. There is a lot to like about his ability to move around at his size. O’Hara has scholarship potential as a big man out of Iliana Christian.

We saw O’Hara play when we went to see Bowman Academy host Illiana Christian and he immediately caught our attention. College coaches will want to evaluate him this weekend at the Run N Slam. The 6’9″ center, who moves very well for his size, will play with Indiana Game UA Rise 17u.

Admittedly, O’Hara was a brand new name for us. That is why we work so hard to see as many different teams in as many different parts of the state though because he is a legit prospect. The 6’9″ junior center put up 15 points and 9 rebounds, even while having to sit much of the second quarter after picking up his third foul, for Illiana Christian. He caught everything thrown his way, scored it on the roll, and had a big two-handed dunk in some traffic. O’Hara will be a big man to follow in the Class of 2027.
