Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam – Eight New Names Emerge

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another spring weekend is in the books. However, this wasn't just another normal weekend. The Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam is one of a couple annual can't miss events. Routinely bringing together all of the top Midwest teams across all shoe circuits, this is the best evaluation event of the spring without a doubt. As always, Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage from the opening tip-off until the final buzzer. The 6'3" two-way guard/wing has impressive athleticism and length that stand out right away. He is a talented right hand driver that can finish up around the rim. He can get downhill off of the bounce, is really hard to stop in transition, and has some big time upside as a defender. The 5'10" playmaking point guard ran the show for [program_tooltip program_id='2337502' first='Indiana' last='Jammers UA Rise'] 17u and helped lead them to a strong showing against good competition. He is at his best as a perimeter shot-maker, but the 6'1" guard also has some sneaky athleticism that he uses to attack closeouts and finish in the intermediate range. However, the 6'9" center really solidified himself as a prospect to watch this weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2699181' first='Indiana' last='Game UA Rise'] 17u. He is an above the rim finisher out of the dunker's spot, on the roll, and on the rim run. There is a lot to like about his ability to move around at his size. He is a legitimate 6'8" with a decently strong build for his age. Saturday at the Run N Slam was one of our first real opportunities to see him play live and he immediately caught our attention with his activity level on the offensive boards and his soft finishing touch at the rim.
