The point guard was a magician with his ball-handling and passing, capably dishing the ball to teammates for scores while also slicing and dicing his way to the basket for his own points as well. His mid-range pull-up was on target and he was a menace on defense in the win. He remains unsigned.

Playing alongside Montague, it gave Lawson the opportunity to play off the ball and he looked comfortable doing so. He was solid off the catch-and-shoot and he didn't just settle for jumpers, he also was active getting downhill off the bounce and finishing strong around the hoop. When given the opportunity, especially off the rebound, he pushed the ball up the floor as he did his entire four-year career at Canby.

Playing up two age groups in 17U was no problem from what we saw from Hill, who fit right in. The Roosevelt freshman was cool and composed when he ran the point and got the opportunity to play off the ball as well. While his lefty jumper from three wasn't quite falling, he adjusted by going to mid-range pullups and strong drives into the lane.

Arguably the top performer we saw in the game was Olvera, who flashed outright dominance at times. He played both with his back to the basket and facing it, with equal success when it came to scoring the basketball. Defenders had a hard time matching up with his physicality whether it was down in the post or off the drive, and his mid-range jumper was sharp. While the result was not a victory, the Tualatin junior posted a rock-solid double-double.

The top guard for the Prospects was Lemon, who played effectively both with the ball in his hands and off the ball. His shot was clicking from the perimeter and he showed good court sense in getting his teammates involved. As usual, plenty of motor and aggressiveness on defense which led to a number of created turnovers with his active hands and feet.
