If basketball fundamentals are the heart of the sport, then crowd-pleasing plays are the energizers. Even those who don't understand the game are able to join in on the excitement of an emphatic dunk or a smooth crossover. Here were some of the flashiest plays at Spooky Nook this past weekend:

"The dunk heard around the world" could serve as the tagline for several of Jordan's slams at Spooky Nook this past weekend. His All Ohio Red 16U EYBL squad competed against some of the top talent in the building and arguably drew the tournament's largest crowds. All of which made Jordan's rim rocking that much more impactful. In his first matchup of the event, Jordan cleaned up a teammate's missed layup attempt with a putback dunk with a defender under the rim. In his final game on Sunday, Jordan rolled to the basket for another poster, but this time over two defenders!

[program_tooltip program_id='2135129' first='Griffin' last='Elite'] UA Rise's 17U squad competed in one of the few Friday night matchups and immediately made a statement. Showcasing a well-balanced team effort in the blowout win, several players stood out, Kamari being one of them. He scored the first 6 points for his squad and finished the contest as one of three players in double figures with 15 points. As far as flashy goes, his go-ahead 3PT field goal from logo-range as the game clock wined down foreshadowed a great weekend for Griffin. Did I mention that he banked it in?

The latter half of Justin's school ball season indicated that he would probably have a big spring and summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2478682' first='Kentucky' last='Ambition']'s 16U squad. He's consistently "on that rim" as the hoop heads like to say and does so with as much force as possible. Justin's effort to run the floor was immediately rewarded and resulted in an emphatic right-handed poster dunk during Ambition's first matchup of the weekend.

Jordon was one of the shiftier guards I spotted all weekend. He understood his strengths well and used his lateral quickness and tight ball handle to get downhill and find open teammates. Defenses struggled to stay in front of him at times as he proved to be tough to contain. In WV Gold's first matchup of the day, he left his defender wobbling on several occasions. The time at which Jordon forced his matchup to hit the floor proved to be the most pleasing to the crowd, to say the least.

Now running with Bates Fundamentals 15U, Aaron was responsible for various flashy plays in his final game of the weekend. His squad pulled off a dominant blowout win during the contest followed by a well-balanced attack throughout which several players shined. Aaron, however, might've been the only athlete on the court that could contribute what he did. Of all of his big plays, Aaron pulled off a euro-step, up-and-under jelly layup in transition that I can only describe as "tough."
