Flashy Plays at Made Hoops Midwest Mania

His All Ohio Red 16U EYBL squad competed against some of the top talent in the building and arguably drew the tournament's largest crowds. All of which made Jordan's rim rocking that much more impactful. In his first matchup of the event, Jordan cleaned up a teammate's missed layup attempt with a putback dunk with a defender under the rim. As far as flashy goes, his go-ahead 3PT field goal from logo-range as the game clock wined down foreshadowed a great weekend for Griffin. He understood his strengths well and used his lateral quickness and tight ball handle to get downhill and find open teammates. Defenses struggled to stay in front of him at times as he proved to be tough to contain. In WV Gold's first matchup of the day, he left his defender wobbling on several occasions. His squad pulled off a dominant blowout win during the contest followed by a well-balanced attack throughout which several players shined. Aaron, however, might've been the only athlete on the court that could contribute what he did.
