The AAU season is about to really take off and it is about be an extremely busy next few months. With rosters being finalized now is a perfect time to start taking a look at as many Indiana-based teams as we can. For this spotlight, let's take a look at [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 2027.

Top Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2140323' first='Blake' last='Hammond']

Not only is he the best player for Team Indiana 2027, you are also potentially looking at a major breakout AAU season for Terre Haute North guard/wing [player_tooltip player_id='2140323' first='Blake' last='Hammond']. Coming off a 11.2 points and 4.6 rebounds junior season, Hammond is one of the more productive players in the in-state class of 2027 and that will be shown this spring/summer. Hammond is a strong, physical player with an ultra high motor and is starting to become more of a complete player all around. A lot of what Team Indiana does could run through Hammond.

Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2622251' first='Caden' last='Jones']

Let's be completely honest, pretty much every player on this roster could have a breakout AAU season however, when you are looking at an under-the-radar type of player, [player_tooltip player_id='2622251' first='Caden' last='Jones'] of Edgewood could be that guy. Jones is coming off a junior season that saw him lead Edgewood with 15.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game -- being the do-it-all type of player for them. At 6'6, Jones is a long wing that can score both on and off the ball at a pretty high level. He is developing into a serious two-way type of wing and that could separate him this upcoming Grassroots season.

Other Roster Members

[player_tooltip player_id='1560964' first='Edwin' last='Holmes'] (Princeton) - Holmes is the loan 2026 player on this roster and will be running with Team Indiana 2027 in the spring. Holmes is one of the more versatile forward you will find in the state and will really give this team a lot of options. Recently earned an offer form IU East after his 15.0 point and 9.1 rebounds per game season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2622052' first='AJ' last='Jones'] (Arsenal Tech) - Jones is one of the few dynamic point guards on this Team Indiana squad this season. He is a crafty guard with a tight handle and quick first step. Transferring to Arsenal Tech from Crispus Attucks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2116874' first='Parker' last='Kern'] (Bedford) - The main man in the backcourt for Team Indiana will be [player_tooltip player_id='2116874' first='Parker' last='Kern'] of Bedford North Lawerence. One of the more underrated guards in the state, Kern is a high IQ on-ball guard that distributes the ball extremely well and can find ways to score at a high level. Another player with breakout potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='2907634' first='Corde' last='Hill'] (Crispus Attucks) - [player_tooltip player_id='2907634' first='Corde' last='Hill'] may be the most under-the-radar player on this roster. He is a true combo guard with smooth shooting ability that can get hot at any moment. He is a player that will help Team Indiana win games.

[player_tooltip player_id='2276971' first='Seth' last='Hahnenberg'] (Lansing Catholic) - Hagnenberg is one and only out-of-state player on Team Indiana being from Lansing Catholic HS out of Michigan. The 6'6 small forward is a great player in the open floor and is a consistent multi-level scorer. He is a mismatch problem for any defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140443' first='Tait' last='Wetzel'] (Heritage Hills) - One of the players on Team Indiana that will make an impact in the frontcourt is [player_tooltip player_id='2140443' first='Tait' last='Wetzel'] of Heritage Hills. Wetzel is a 6'6 post player that has true double-double potential in any given game. A fundamentally sound big man with inside-out scoring potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='2882227' first='Tomislav' last='Kostelac'] (Culver Academy) - A player that we at Prep Hoops are excited to see more of is 6'6 power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2882227' first='Tomislav' last='Kostelac']. He is an international prospect that proved to be very productive his junior season. Another breakout player possibly.
