Having not seen Hahnenberg since last summer with Indiana Elite Team Indiana 17u his improvement was very noticeable to me. The 6’7″ forward was excellent around the basket finishing in a variety of ways while displaying quick feet, a soft touch, and some improved physical strength. He was able to rebound against the big boys all weekend long. Scholarship schools should definitely be taking a long look at Hahnenberg heading into the summer.

2027 and he may be the most impressive prospect on the roster. Such a fluid player and physical bucket getter, he also had some of the best baseline work I have seen out of high school prospect in such a long time. Lot of raw potential.

Hahnenberg has been heating up for a while now. He’s really been outstanding in the open floor, getting off the ground in a hurry and finishing above the rim. Hahnenberg has looked fast down the floor as well. He’s also shown that he’s a true multi level scorer with a dangerous jumper with range well beyond the arc.

Hahnenberg probably deserves more press. The young man can flat out hoop. His combination of strength, height and ball skills make him a big time matchup issure for almost every opponent. Hahnenberg has to always be accounted for by the defense because he can score from all over the floor.

Hahnenberg could absolutely blow up this season. He’s going to be a big time matchup mismatch all season for Lansing Catholic. Hahnenberg has always been too big and too tall with too many perimeter skills for most defenders to slow him down. But now all word is that he’s even more athletic. That’ll be trouble for opponents.

Hahnenberg is an effective hard playing undersized forward who makes a living on the interior. He excels at rim running in transition and gets rewarded from his guards with alley-oops. Hahnenberg does a great job using his post moves when he is on the block and can let the game run through him. He is sneaky athletic and can play above the rim. He shows some flashes as a floor spacer and needs to be on scouting reports that he can hit open shots. His strong from allows him to bully his way past defenders. Hahnenberg is a tad robotic but is productive despite his movements. I think Hahnenberg should be a priority recruit at the division two level who could see some sniffs from service academies, my only worry is he more of a 4/5 then he is a three at the next level.

Hahnenberg is a very intriguing prospect. He can effectively play outside-in as well as inside-out. Hahnenberg rebounds and controls the glass like a post player, but can easily step outside and work off the perimeter. He can also defend multiple positions. I really think that you’ll be hearing his name a lot over the next few years.

Hahnenberg has a lot going for himself as a basketball prospect. He has impressive positional height and length and he uses them both very effectively on the glass. He was a double digit rebound threat game in and game out during high school season. Hahnenberg can attack with his left and really works well on the baseline.
