Playing with increased level of confidence in his overall skillset paired with the game having legitimately slowed down for him, Yirenkui demonstrated an aggressive and versatile scoring attack as a reliable scoring presence all season long— getting to his spots particularly in the mid range area off the bounce with comfort for smooth pull ups, pushing the tempo in the open floor and attacking the basket in transition to evade defenders and finish in traffic, excelling off the ball as a spot up shooter, attacking driving angles within the flow of the offense. Yirenkui was also equally impactful on the defensive end of the floor— being disruptive at the point of attack, be active in the passing lanes and get his hands on passes, even challenging shot attempts at the rim, and even crashing the glass and rebounding the ball well for his position. Behind a countless number of loud and explosive scoring performances, Lecator routinely proved he's more than capable of getting to his spots and scoring from multiple different areas on the floor as an aggressive bucket getter— knocking down open three point attempts as a spot up threat while also diversifying his scoring arsenal, attacking the lane for soft runners and crafty finishes through traffic with strong body control around the rim, and showcasing a smooth mid range pull up game off the bounce in the in between area.     Part of a confident, fiery, and overall deep backcourt that was the catalyst to a NJSIAA North Jersey Group 4, Section 1 title, [player_tooltip player_id='2201964' first='Elijah' last='Caldwell'] emerged as valuable and reliable contributor, stepping up wherever necessary and contributing wherever need be— converting on a number of opportunistic looks from three point range at a decent rate, handling some of the ball handling responsibilities and setting the table from the point guard position and taking care of the ball, helping fuel East Orange's offense in the open floor pushing the tempo in transition while also stringing together strong moments of some of his creativity off the bounce, capable of attacking the basket and finishing with a crafty touch around the basket. A relentless on ball defender, Caldwell hung his hat all season on applying constant ball pressure and bringing high energy and effort— excelling at forcing turnovers and capitalizing on them, turning defensive plays into easy transition baskets.     A dynamic playmaking guard who plays with extreme confidence and certain level of craftiness and creativity off the bounce, [player_tooltip player_id='2201953' first='Jayden' last='Johnson'] impressed with the countless number of explosive scoring performances he erupted for over the course of his junior season. Extremely confident from the outside capable of rattling off a high percentage of makes, Johnson consistently knocks down perimeter looks, with deep range accuracy too, capitalizing on late closeouts and undisciplined contests, punishing defenses from the outside. Although reinforcing his reputation as one of the state's most dynamic shot makers, Johnson also took noticeable strides as a ball handler— appearing increasingly more comfortable running the offense and making smart decisions, as evidenced by the strong reads he displayed as the season wained as a primary ball handler while also contributing defensively, often turning stops into offensive opportunities. Kielb proved capable of handling ball pressure from opposing defenders and initiating different offensive sets, while also scoring within the flow to provide consistent production. When asked to run the offense and organize Ridge's actions, Kielb played with noticeable composure and poise. At the same time, Kielb kept the defense honest and recognized opportunities to attack off the dribble— using driving lanes to finish from various angles around the rim, while also keeping the defense completely honest as a respected outside threat from beyond the arc as a three point shooter.     Emerging as an impactful and vital contributor for this Morris Catholic group in his first year since transferring, [player_tooltip player_id='2573746' first='Brandon' last='Johnson'] demonstrated an intriguing blend of size and fluidity on the wing, standing out for his ability to score efficiently in a variety of ways while also providing legitimate impact as a versatile defender. As the season wained, Johnson proved to be a versatile offensive threat without necessarily breaking the flow of Morris Catholic's offense— attacking closeouts with purpose and strength to get to the basket, crafty and athletic finishing at the rim in transition, a capable threat from the outside as a spot up shooter, effective out the dunker spot catching dump offs from penetrating guards. Possessing compelling length and fluid movement skills, Johnson also shined on the defensive end of the floor— leveraging his lengthy arms to guard multiple positions, be active in the passing lanes to disrupt passes, and crash the glass with effort and energy to come down with rebounds.
