Prep School Priorities Vol. 2

These are a few high schools seniors across the northeast who would be great pickups for prep schools as postgrads. Figured this might be a cool special to do to spotlight all the talented unsigned high school seniors who have limited to no recruitment.    Creates separation off the bounce to generate his shot and is comfortable operating in two-man actions, using ball screens effectively in the half-court. Possesses good length, though adding strength would help him handle physicality. I like his in-between game and his ability to elude traffic to get to the basket.     Consistently puts himself in good spots on the floor to capitalize on second-chance opportunities. Shows the ability to roll effectively to the rim and has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. The lefty displays flashes of being able to space the floor, with a smooth, confident release when he lets it fly. I like his ability to present mismatch problems for opposing defenses.     A methodical jumbo wing who is a natural playmaker for himself and others. He serves as a focal point of the offense and is a constant scoring threat whenever the ball is in his hands. Capable of finding the bucket in a variety of ways, he brings versatility on the offensive end. Defensively, he shows good timing when contesting and altering shots. Improving his consistency will be key to taking the next step in his development.     His gangly length allows him to disrupt passing and driving lanes on the defensive end. He does a good job starting the break and finding teammates moving up the floor. I like how active he is on the glass, consistently impacting possessions with his rebounding. He has shown steady improvement over time, but continuing to tighten and sharpen his handle will be important for his development.     A utility guard who is a viable plug-and-play option in the backcourt. He has the ability to score the ball in a variety of ways and does a good job finding opportunities for others with his passing. I like how he consistently gets teammates involved within the flow of the offense. His best basketball is still ahead of him.     A long, rangy big who makes his presence felt on the defensive end, using his length to contest and alter shots. He is improving offensively but is still a bit raw at this stage. Shows value as a threat in the two-man game and is effective rolling to the rim. I like how he keeps things simple and stays within his role. Also does a good job capitalizing on second-chance opportunities on the offensive glass.
