Players to Watch:

St. Mark's: [player_tooltip player_id='2341443' first='Luca' last='Palermo'], a 6'7" forward, provides St. Mark's with a physical interior presence, while also playing with a high level of skill. The junior is capable of scoring over either shoulder with his back to the basket, has good footwork in the post, and does a nice job of carving out space as an offensive rebounder. He makes good decisions out of the trailer position and also shows the ability to make a big impact on the offensive glass. Defensively, he walls up around the rim, cleans up on the defensive glass in traffic, and does a nice job of being where he needs to in rotations.

Master's: Noah Ferguson, a 6'5" wing, has a terrific feel for the game on the offensive end of the floor. Only a sophomore, he has done a great job of operating as a floor spacer this winter, showing deep range and the ability to consistently knock down shots in catch and shoot situations. He makes good decisions with the ball in his hands in the half-court, and most impressively, is a terrific mover without the ball, showing a great understanding of how to slide into open passing windows. Defensively, he can rebound in space and does a nice job of using his length to make plays in passing lanes.

Players to Watch:

Canterbury: [player_tooltip player_id='2875553' first='Dashiell' last='Mabilon'], a 6'10" forward, has made a huge impact for Canterbury this winter, particularly as a rim protector. A fluid mover with plus length, he does a great job of timing his shot block attempts and covers ground quickly with long strides. Beyond that, he's playing with a better motor and more physicality, which has allowed him to elevate his game as a two-way rebounder. He flies up the floor in transition, can attack the rim as a straight line driver, and even shows the ability to knock down standstill threes off the catch.

Rivers: [player_tooltip player_id='2818508' first='Jack' last='Millward'], a 6'5" wing, has shined in his first year in the NEPSAC and provides Rivers with a big time scoring threat on the offensive end of the floor. He's a big, strong, and athletic wing that has the ability to score it at all three levels and shows an understanding of how to take advantage of mismatches on the offensive end of the floor. He's really good when he can get downhill off the bounce, and uses his strength and athleticism to his advantage as a finisher around the rim. He does a nice job of rebounding on the defensive end of the floor, has the ability to guard up and down a position, and is effective when quickly turning turnovers into offensive scoring opportunities.
