The MPSSAA State Championship brought out some of the best individual performances of the season with multiple players stepping up in the biggest of moments! The 3A region presented a lot of new and familiar talent, and South River saw their talent expanded the most as they rose the 3A State Title by the end. This article will feature some of the top offensive prospects/performances I caught during the 3A Division of the Public School State Championship.

Jonah had a solid playoff run for 3A State Champs South River. He really emerged as one of the most dangerous perimeter scorers in the playoffs, putting together an elite shooting display in both the semifinals and the championship games. He knocked down a barrage of three-pointers, consistently punishing defenses for giving him space. Once defenders began to close out Jonah showed his ability to attack off the bounce. He was able to get into the paint and finish through traffic with either hand. His combination of shot-making, efficiency, and composure against top competition ultimately earned him MVP honors, solidifying his impact as a true difference-maker.

Camari was a relentless offensive presence who consistently put pressure on defenses with his physicality and aggressiveness. He drew fouls at a high rate by attacking the paint and embracing contact, creating steady scoring opportunities throughout the playoffs. Camari proved he could score both inside and out, but was at his best when imposing his will in the paint. When the offense stalled, he took control by getting downhill and creating offense for himself. He also made a consistent impact on the glass, generating second-chance points through his effort and work for positioning. Camari helped lead his team to the State Semis and proved himself as a key offensive force.

Osborne was a physically imposing interior presence who controlled the paint with his strength and finishing ability. He consistently established position, finished through contact, and battled for extra possessions. Osborne impacted the glass on both ends and even pushed the break off a rebound, drawing a foul at the rim. He thrived in screen-and-roll situations, finishing above the rim, including a powerful dunk. His presence was highlighted by a two-foot dunk in traffic. His ability to control the paint and finish consistently made him a major offensive factor.

Jalen showed the ability to score at all three levels while maintaining constant pressure on the defense for Largo in his final MPSSAA run. Jalen consistently broke down defenders off the dribble, blowing by his matchup and finishing in the lane with either hand. His aggressiveness stood out, as he repeatedly attacked the rim and forced fouls and outmuscled defenders for layups. His combination of downhill explosiveness and scoring versatility made him one of the toughest covers throughout Largo's playoff run.

Brayden established himself as one of the most dynamic scorers amongst the 3A playoff field, using his quickness and tight handle to create offense at a high level. He consistently generated space off the dribble, allowing him to get to his spots and score from all three levels. Whether attacking the rim, pulling up in the midrange, or knocking down outside shots, Brayden showed a complete scoring package all postseason. He also made plays defensively, creating deflections that led to transition opportunities where he finished efficiently. As the playoffs progressed, Brayden elevated his play and further solidified himself as a go-to scorer for the North Hagerstown Hubs.

Zeke was a high-level shot creator that was constantly putting pressure on the defense. He played with nice pace and confidence, and used a polished euro step to navigate defenders and finish at the rim consistently. He also showed strong playmaking instincts, driving and kicking to open shooters often. His handle allowed him to generate separation, while his shooting kept defenders honest. Zeke delivered multiple tough finishes at the rim, and his consistent ability to create and convert made him one of the top offensive threats in the 3A Division playoffs.
