<p>Incredible atmosphere at Bolingbrook High School for the Sectional Semifinals between Neuqua Valley and Bolingbrook. A star-studded game with plenty of talent on the floor that did not disappoint. Aside from the top guys, each team had players step up and make an impact on this game. A close game at the start of the 4th quarter, but Bolingbrook went on a huge run to secure a 68-53 win. Below are the players who impressed in the game. </p>

<p>Pettigrew proved why he is a top player in his class and made a case for a higher ranking with an impressive 25-point performance. He is a true three-level scorer with a great handle. Pettigrew is an excellent self-creator but is also very efficient off the ball, constantly moving. Defensively, he personally took on the challenge to guard Nequa's better players. Pettigrew brought intensity to the game and was a leader on the court for Bolingbrook, helping lead them to a win. </p>

<p>Williams finished the game with 10 points, showcasing his athleticism and mid-range game. He attacks the rim well, finishing through contact. He gets height on his mid-range pull-ups, making them hard to contest. Williams really impressed on the defensive end, constantly guarding the ball and disrupting plays with active hands and intensity. Williams showed strong on-ball defensive skills, using his lateral quickness and strength to make opposing players struggle to get the offense going. </p>

<p>Madden was a force down low on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he was great as a roller and at finding soft spots in the defense. Madden uses his size to finish over defenders at the rim. Defensively, he made a huge impact on the game. Madden uses his length and instincts as a rim protector, consistently contesting and blocking shots at the rim. His size and skill set are something a program at the next level should bet on. </p>

<p>Brost was one of the better defenders on the floor in this game. He was a pest on defense, making every catch hard and every shot contested. Brost brought the energy early, knocking down threes and clamping up on defense. The 2026 guard got into foul trouble but played smart and impacted the game on both ends of the floor. Brost displayed great vision, finding his teammates in transition. </p>

<p>Kelly's arsenal was on full display,y and he showed why he is ranked high in the 2028 class. Kelly has a smooth release and deep range. He finished the game with 17 points, showing his ability as a scorer. Kelly is a strong driver and can finish through contact at the rim. The lefty shooter started bringing up the ball and handling it more in the second half, showing his versatility as a forward. Kelly created offense for himself and his teammates. </p>

<p>The Illinois commit's shooting gravity forced Bolingbrook to be aware of him at all times and stay attached wherever he was on the floor. Martin finished the game with 13 points and showcased the abilities that make him a great get for Illinois. He is a great movement shooter and possesses elite off-ball movement and screen navigation skills. He is an efficient shooter from beyond the arc with an effortless release. Martin has the ability to rise up over opponents and hit tough shots from three and in the mid-range. </p>

<p>Mikuta finished the game with 11 points, knocking down a few threes along the way. Other than scoring, the 2027 forward found different ways to be impactful for Neuqua Valley. Mikuta was active for rebounds and tips on both ends of the floor. He was a good decision-maker who was usually the primary passer in the offense. Defensively, he didn't make many mistakes and would wall up on taller opposing players. </p>
