Awahmukalah matched the intensity and physicality of the game from the jump. He met the moment by altering shots at the rim, battling on the glass to extend possessions,l, and finishing through contact around the cup. In the fourth, he stepped out and hit a three as well, tallying 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 stocks (1s 2b).

Against the faster Wildcat team, Figgs was a battering ram. He bludgeoned the defense out of the lost block, posting up and stuffing back missed shots. On the defensive end, he threw his weight around as an enforcer, rejecting shots and deflecting passes out of the land. Over the full game, Figgs paced Cape with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 stocks (2s 4b).

Johnson may have only scored 7 points, but he made a huge difference on the boards and as a rim protector. He was an immovable object on Penn's backline, walling off slashers from the rim with his sheer size and strength. Then, when shots missed off the glass, Johnson snagged them to limit any potential second-chance points. On the flip side, he came up with a few putbacks on offense, finishing with 12 rebounds to go along with his 7 points.

After getting on the scoreboard with a post up, Obiora began attacking the ball in the air for rebounds, coming up with several in the first half. But with the Hawks up by just 1 at the start of the third, he went off for 11 points and 3 blocks in the third quarter alone to help them pull away. Obiora showed the same level of intensity rotating on defense as he did running the floor for breakaway dunks. He also pushed the ball ahead in transition to spread the wealth on his way to 23 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks, and a ticket to the Bob.

Reid was a putback specialist versus Caravel. He snatched missed shots off the rim and laid the ball right back up. His efficiency on the glass was also indicative of his overall effectiveness in the paint, throwing down multiple dunks on drop off passes from teammates. And while others were lighting up the scoreboard in the third, he was busy putting a lid on the Caravel rim. He totalled 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
