The first quarter was played out exactly how Fox Creek liked it: fast, open, and free-flowing. They lead after one quarter thanks to early play from [player_tooltip player_id='2414074' first='Justin' last='Vining'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2954962' first='Chuck' last='Schwarz']. Vining was able to penetrate the opposing defense and get to the paint, while Schwarz was a menace at the rim on both ends. Christ Church struggled offensively over the first several minutes, but they settled into their pace and style of play in the second quarter, holding the Predators without a bucket for the final 3:45. [player_tooltip player_id='2887707' first='Ty' last='Young'] hit a huge left-wing three right before the halftime buzzer, sending the teams to the locker room tied. After Fox Creek had the first bucket of the second half, Christ Church answered with an 11-0 run, holding the Predators without a bucket for almost six minutes. Vining and Schwarz were back at it midway through the second half, plus [player_tooltip player_id='2207644' first='Randy' last='Robinson'] came up huge to get the Predator faithful loud. Robinson and [player_tooltip player_id='2299739' first='Reid' last='Hipp'] had 12 of the first eight points in the fourth quarter, and later <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2868864' first='Jason' last='Rogers Jr']</strong> had a clutch left-corner three to get the Cavalier lead down to just four. Then, with the score at 52-49, Hipp missed two free throws. Fox Creek came down and answered with an excellent pass from [player_tooltip player_id='1986996' first='Kobe' last='Sims'] to an open [player_tooltip player_id='2877440' first='Keori' last='Atwell'], but [player_tooltip player_id='1807305' first='David' last='Dixon'] put Christ Church back ahead with a massive three in front of his own bench. Sims' last-second prayer was no good, and the Cavaliers returned to State Championship glory.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
