3/16/26: Crump and his St. George's Gryphons scratched and clawed against eventual Division II Class A State Champion Providence Christian Academy (PCA) in the state semifinals, losing narrowly 45-41. Lefty guard [player_tooltip player_id='2795834' first='Carson' last='Crump'] dealt decently with PCA's sophomore guard tandem of T.J. Duke and Mike Holloway. Crump scored 19 points on 7-18 shooting. His shot selection needs work and yet 5-12 from deep reflects the excellent outside shooting touch thanks to his lightning quick release. PCA turned the ball over a disturbing 14 times. Crump, [player_tooltip player_id='2449527' first='Dylan' last='Love'], and [player_tooltip player_id='3535260' first='Ethan' last='Richmond'] each had two steals.

3/16/26: Sub-state appearance. Dillard scored 13.1 points per game along with 8.0 rebounds per and 1.3 steals per in just his sophomore year. Dillard sparkled in his first TSSAA season, earning All-District honors. Dillard averaged a double-double in the successful Regional Tournament

As a freshman across the border in Ft. Campbell, Dillard averaged 15.1 ppg with a staggering 9.9 rpg, and 2.5 blocks per game. He recorded 10 double-doubles.

The hope is that, with physical development, [player_tooltip player_id='2523939' first='Israel' last='Dillard'] can blossom into a shooting guard. Right now he is a high school 3/4.

3/16/26: [player_tooltip player_id='2635098' first='TJ' last='Duke'] enjoyed a decent State Tournament. With the 2026 PCA squad, TJ earned a starting spot, routinely paired with Mikey Holloway. Together they did struggle to limit turnovers, but they also contributed to the team's State Championship in a variety of ways. Duke reminds of a young Jeremy Jackson Jr. Both boast insane leaping ability and neither was an elite outside shooter early in their high school career. Duke projects as a point guard though he plays more of a combo or 2-guard for PCA right now. They do graduate [player_tooltip player_id='1659513' first='Christopher' last='Washington Jr.'], [player_tooltip player_id='1947455' first='Peyton' last='Applegate'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1943896' first='Nickalai' last='Anderson'] this spring though. Duke's role is certain to grow substantially.

3/16/26: In the critical sub-state game, Bo doubled down very quickly on [player_tooltip player_id='2439013' first='Cutter' last='Sisk'] within the first minute at Beech Monday March 9th. Was it the in the gameplan or was it his personal read? It doesn't really matter. Maxwell executed and deflected the ball out of bounds. Bo played a ton last year for Cookeville and started again throughout a strong sophomore year. Cookeville's season finished 20-12 with a disappointing 3-5 district record. Almost everybody returns in 2026-2027.
