7/18/26: Kharlo completely dominated the first half of basketball. He was calm and speedy. A true wing guard. No longer is Dickens operating in the lane. The ceiling is so much higher if (and this appears true now) that Dickens can play the wing after high school. His passing ability in the open floor was exceptional. He played his best facing the basket from 14′. Dickens finished great in the lane after absorbing contact.

12/20/25: Khralo’s defensive prowess shone Saturday when he blocked a layup easily. Dickens is a traditional power forward with composure who does not foul often despite standing between hard-charging guards and the basket. Dickens looks to be a patient defender. He does not bite on pump fakes as often as most young bigs do. Hunting blocks is fun, but can be precarious.

7/5/25: What will Kharlo be in five years? Tough to tell. His game suggests forward, whether he lands on small or power forward remains to be seen. Kharlo will be a dominant player at the high school level as soon as possibly this next winter. Naturally strong. No ego. Kharlo can, at the very minimum, provide the Big Red with an elite defensive rebounder and post defender. His ceiling will become less hazy after a few months of M.B.A. basketball. Great energy. A naturally pleasant person.
