4A Second-Team All-State Tournament Breakdown

We continue to break down our All-Tournament teams from the 4A state tournament with the second-team selections. Take a look back at our first-team choices and MVP picks <a href="https://prephoops.com/2026/03/4a-first-team-all-state-tournament-breakdown/">here</a>.    17.7 pts 2.7 ast - 54.3% FG/35.7% 3PT   Ziklik was the top player off the bench in the entire tournament. His production and efficiency made him a key guy down the stretch of their three games at the Tacoma Dome. He averaged 20 points over their last two games against Richland and Emerald Ridge, while only committing two turnovers. His scoring boost and added ball handling gave Lake Washington a ton of options and different creators on the floor at one time.     16.7 pts 7.7 reb 3.7 ast 2.0 blk - 50% 3PT   The lone sophomore to make any of our 4A All-Tournament teams, Birley showed off his all-around impact and high potential as a multi-category performer. He finished the tournament 10th in PPG, T-5th in APG, 11th in RPG, and led the tournament in blocked shots (2.0 per game). He came out on a heater, averaging 20.5 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and 2.5 blocks over their first two games, and demonstrated how vital he is to that offense.     18.0 pts 4.3 reb 3.7 ast 1.7 blk - 91.7% FT   Hennig made his presence felt for the number one seed Wildcats. The 6-foot-7 guard was 7th in scoring average, tied for 5th in assists per game, and was just one block off of the tournament lead, with a tournament-high four blocks in one game. The sharpshooter only hit on three 3-pointers at The Dome, but was able to adjust and find a lot of success inside on both ends, and also made his mark at the foul line (11-for-12). He had a game-high 22 points against Glacier Peak to help Mount Si claim fourth-place.     15.0 pts 8.0 reb 2.3 ast 1.7 stl 1.0 blk - 40% 3PT   Ford was another Wildcat getting it done at the Tacoma Dome. His impact was felt all-around the floor, and he showed off that athleticism, power, and footwork the make him so special. He started the tournament off with back-to-back double-doubles, and he just had this relentless determination to get to the rim.     15.7 pts 2.3 ast 2.0 stl - 45.9% FG/50% 3PT   Woodard had one of the performances of the tournament with his 30-point game in the semifinal win over Lake Washington. His seven threes were a huge boost in that one that helped lift Richland over the Kangs and into the title game. Over the entire tournament, he was tied for third in both total 3PM and 3PT%. He was a consistent third option to help Richland take some weight off of their top two scorers, while also providing some relief and reliability handling the rock. And that 30-point eruption was a big reason the Bombers secured the 4A title.     13.0 pts 7.0 reb 2.8 ast - 46.5% FG   McGriff helped lead a balanced Emerald Ridge attack to their best finish in school history. In fact, last season, four of the seniors (including McGriff) and one junior were apart of the first group to ever take the Jags to the 4A state tournament. McGriff was a huge part of those back-to-back trips, and a fifth-place finish this year where he ended 10th in total points, 7th in total assists, and 5th in total rebounds.
