We have updated our rankings for the junior class on the site (found here), with 280 total prospects listed and 38 new players in Washington DC and Maryland added into our system to reflect the impact that they have had on their team during this high school season. We had a ton of movement in this update to cover, especially in our top 10, with a new #1 and several new faces joining the elite group of DMV juniors as we gear up for AAU season. That updated top 10 can be found here. This article will identify a few Stock Holders-- players that our scouts are still high on long-term, even if their play didn't merit a bump in this rankings update. Let's dive in!

-McKnight has shown some really nice flashes over the past three years as an aggressive slasher off the bounce that generates a ton of paint touches for Clinton Grace. The consistency in his production is what is needed for him to take the next step. And with several key cogs in the CG offense graduating this spring, he should be in line for more opportunities to attack/create off of side ball screens and in transition as a primary ballhandler. Love his instincts and versatility at the defensive end of the floor as our scouts saw McKnight cut off the water of several different opposing scoring guards throughout the season.

-Hall's junior year was unfortunately sidelined by injuries for most of the season, but he has shown promise and started every game that he was healthy for over the last three years. Hall's top gear speed in the open floor makes him a dynamic guard to stay in front of in transition and also aids him at the other end in picking up opposing point guards 94 feet. His quickness allows him to fluidly get to his spots in the halfcourt without needing a ball screen, getting downhill with some sharp ankle angles that make him difficult to guard in the key without fouling. Hall has proven adept at knocking down pull-up jumpers from the nail once he gets his matchup on their back heels-- if he can extend that range behind the three point arc, it would make him even more of a dynamic matchup.

-While still relatively raw at the offensive end of the floor, Tchueffa has a move or two in his bag know to score off of post catches in traffic or offensive rebounds. His ability to rebound the basketball and protect the rim with good positional size is huge in a league that doesn't have a ton of forward prospects. Love the motor that he plays with and his team-first approach to taking on whatever nightly tasks his team needs from him as a screener, mobile W/F defender, and lob/roll threat in the key. There are the tools to a really productive HS forward prospect and he's starting to put it together, excited to see how he develops over the next few months!

-One of my favorite 2-way guys in the area, Wright carved out a consistent role as a starter for the Stags this season as a junior. Wright is an unselfish passer in the open court, takes on difficult guard defensive assignments facing off against different archetypes, and was a really pesky offensive rebounder that sprinted into the fray to extend possessions for his team. His ability to create his own shot on the ball, add more finishing moves in the paint, and knock down open 3s to space the floor for DM will be crucial in taking that next step in his senior season. But our scouts loved seeing the energy he brought, especially to the defensive end of the floor, over the season.

-Bieberich earned some opportunities to prove his worth as a prolific shooter that can knock down shots off the catch for a St. Mary's team that battled in their first season in the MIAA A Conference. Love the confidence that he comes into the game with and think that he can earn more opportunities if he gets stronger and can find opportunities to chip in for rebounds in the paint. Rounding out those parts of his game seem fully within reach and the opportunity to do so will be in play with several key pieces graduating this spring.
