We updated our rankings for the senior class for the final time Wednesday, with our scouts doing a great job of covering games in person or grinding film to add in 52 new prospects into the class to recognize the hard work of our local prospects. Here we'll break down a few bucket-getters that impressed our scouts enough to receive a nice final bump to their rankings status as stock-risers on the site. Let's dive in!

-Turner was the 4th consecutive DC Player of the Year that calls Coolidge home, boasting averages of 26p 11r 8a on the season. Turner continued to prove that he can score with the best of them throughout the season, that ability culminated in a career-high 52-point outburst in a win on the road against HD Woodson midway through the season. A strong downhill driver that excelled in transition or in the halfcourt at bullying his way to his spots, he was the spark plug for a Coolidge offense that lit the city on fire. With several prep and scholarship offers at the collegiate level on the table, it will be interesting to see where the dynamic scorer ends up next year.

-"Boogie" turned in a great career for Richard Montgomery as one of the best scorers in not only Moco but the whole DMV as a shifty scoring point guard. Loved his ability to hit midrange jumpers going either direction from the wings and over the course of his career his pivot/finishing bag around the rim only continued to improve. Boogie got to his spots with or without a ball screen and supplemented his shot diet of midrange and 3 point bombs with consistent trips to the free throw line each night. His ability to get hot and stay hot to sustain momentum for RM bodes well for his long term outcomes at the next level with Division II Young Harris College.

-Razi was named to the All-IAC Team in addition to 1st Team All-DC by the DC Coaches' Association for his play in his final run with the Bulldogs. He averaged 16p 5a 3r 2s for St. Albans as a crafty scoring point guard that knew how call his own number while also fullfilling his role as a distributor and leader for this team. His play-making vision from the wings and shooting ability allowed STA to play several 3-guard lineups that generated a ton of ball movement for a high octane offense in DC.

-The senior PG stepped into a bigger role this season with a young Bullis group and performed admirably at both ends of the floor as a starter for the Bulldogs. His ability to knock down shots was crucial in providing floor-spacing for his team while his skill development sharpened the handle to make him a more confident downhill driver attacking gaps in the halfcourt. Our scouts loved his scrappy on-ball defense as a pesky POA defender that grew quite capable chasing around shooters in the halfcourt to limit touches and shots throughout the game.

-Vita rejoined our rankings after starting his senior season in NC after he returned to West Nottingham to provide another ballhandler and scorer for the Rams' backcourt. Vita proved capable of controlling pace in transition as both a scorer and distributor for a WNA that had a ton of talent filling the lane and wings. Loved his development over the course of the year as a strong guard that manipulates his defenders to shift one way before using ball screens to attack the defense with downhill drives to the rim that often ended in a bucket or FTs. Vita's ability to knock down perimeter jumpers off the catch should only add to his value at the next level as a well-rounded guard that can do a little bit of everything for his team.
