Fred Jones Jr., aka “Deuce,” played great in his new threads this winter. On offense, he was dynamic with his ability to slash to the cup, or let it go from the perimeter, where he had some success. I'd also say he looked more aggressive out there. On defense, Jones Jr. was a playmaker thanks to his quickness and vertical. He covered ground faster than opponents expected, which allowed him to intercept passes and swat shots. Considering his growth, it looks like he may have a big summer ahead of him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2637173' first='CJ' last='Edwards'] has moved from #10 to #7 in the latest 2028 rankings after putting together a stellar season for the Clark Chargers. The sophomore floor general was a reliable scorer for them thanks to his accuracy, patience, and instincts. His precision from downtown (38%) was an asset all season, and he capped off his great year by knocking down a huge three in the 4A State Championship game. Edwards didn't take possessions off on defense either, constantly applying pressure. And he led the Chargers in minutes per game. Expect him to make waves with [program_tooltip program_id='3194769' first='Team' last='Right Now'] in the coming months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2654821' first='Braylen' last='Williams'] jumps up to #8 after being a very solid 2-way player for Bishop Gorman this year. Defensively, he utilized his motor, length, and IQ to be a pest, never giving matchups much room to operate. He was also a difference-maker on the offensive end, crashing the glass to score second-chance points and draining timely triples. All in all, his production was there on a consistent basis, and he was often making an impact every time he stepped on the court

[player_tooltip player_id='2412305' first='Nick' last='Odum'] comes in at #9. He is a versatile small forward who is able to contribute on both ends of the court thanks to his height, length, and athleticism. His long strides help him get downhill, and he can finish over centers. Those same traits also allow him to impact the game on defense, as he can cover multiple positions and take away space in the blink of an eye. He will be running with the [program_tooltip program_id='2888350' first='LV' last='Knicks'] this spring/summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2423332' first='Mehki' last='Carter'] rounds out the top 10. He is an incredibly shifty guard who can shake defenders or euro step around them to score. He also has a mid-range shot that he gets to and is a threat from beyond the arc. Carter gets after it on the defensive end as well, capable of picking his opponent's pocket or jumping in a passing lane. From there, he can push the pace to jumpstart the offense or take it all the way himself and slam it home. With his upside, he may turn some heads again with LV United.
