RJ Johnson stands out immediately due to his size and frame. He's right around 6'6 and can handle the rock a bit more than you might expect. He does a great job of utilizing his height in the paint to shoot over opponents, and he's a very capable rebounder. Defensively, he covers ground at a rapid rate and can alter shots with his length. All in all, he has many of the tools you look for, and he'll be an intriguing 2028 to follow the rest of the spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2975673' first='Tysen' last='Phoenix'] notably plays up for AAU, rolling with Prominent Elite's 16U squad. Although he's one of the younger guys (if not the youngest) out there, he makes his presence felt. Skying for rebounds and protecting the rim with his wingspan and vertical. Phoenix is a threat to score as well and can get it done inside or from the perimeter.

Ziyan Jumawan is a 2027 prospect who has a very versatile game. On offense, he leverages his frame and strength to score in the paint, bullying defenders at times. He also has a jump shot in his bag, and you have to respect his ability to hit from mid-range or beyond the arc. On the defensive end, he has the instincts and reach to block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2286665' first='Jamahl' last='Jackson'] is another impact player for the Reno Ballers 17U team. He is a stout defender who doesn't give up ground easily when opposing forwards try to work their way to the block. I'm also a fan of how he can absorb contact when he goes up with it, and he shows some decent touch as well. Beyond his defense and scoring, he crashes the glass consistently.

Josiah Denning looks like a prospect who has the potential to break into the rankings quite soon. He is an athletic small forward who gets to his spots efficiently. He also gets to the rim and can make tough finishes. As a defender, Denning can pose problems with his quickness and reach.

[player_tooltip player_id='3173735' first='Breck' last='Schellin'] runs with the Reno Ballers and can light it up from 3-point land. He is a floor spacer for them and can get open in the corner or the wing for clean looks. His height also gives him an advantage on the defensive end, as he isn't the easiest guy to get around. I also like how he plays with confidence.

Rashad Hooker was a dynamic presence for Prominent Elite this past weekend. He made an impact on the defensive end with his rim protection and consistently disrupted shots around the basket. He stayed active in the paint, putting down an eye popping dunk. Overall, it was a quality outing from him
