With the state tournament in the books, we take a look back at some of the biggest stars of the week. The week was full of awesome moments, as the top class in Nebraska delivered. The bracket gave us some upsets, as the final didn't feature any of the top three seeds and saw the title return to Lincoln for the first time in 23 years as Lincoln Southwest got the job done 57-53 over Papio South.

It's hard not to start off with Wilson, who set the Class A record for most threes in a state tournament, going 16/35 from downtown during the Silver Hawks' run to the title. He was one of the most impactful players in the entire bracket, and Southwest needed him because of some injuries and foul trouble through the tournament, which was especially evident in their first-round win over Millard North. He also hit some huge threes late in the fourth against top-seeded Omaha Westside that helped power Southwest to a 66-63 upset win. What impressed me was the different spots he was shooting from as well as the energy that he played with, as his shots would spark the guys around him. In the 3-game championship run, Wilson averaged 21.3 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 0.6 apg, and 1.3 spg.

Webb has been one of the top players in the state this entire season, and he put that on display last week. Papio South went into the tournament as the 6th seed, but was able to pull off a pair of upsets to reach the title game. Webb was a driving force behind that, as he plays like the engine for the Titans. He is the kind of player who can do it all and draws a lot of attention from the defense. When this happens, he does a great job of finding teammates for open looks. This was on display in the second-round matchup with perennial powerhouse Bellevue West, where he had 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. I love the way he is able to get downhill and score in a variety of ways. In their 3 games, he averaged 19.7 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 5.0 apg, and 2.3 spg.

Sanders showed out again to finish a strong career on a high note, as he had a big tournament to help lead Lincoln Southwest to a state title. One thing that was talked about a lot after the state tournament was the turnover battle, as Southwest did an excellent job of playing fast and aggressive while also limiting turnovers, and Sanders was a key part of that. He had a 7:1 assist-to-turnover ratio while also forcing a ridiculous 9 steals over the three games. He has such a feel for how to get his hand on the ball, which allows them to get out and play in transition, which is when they are at their most dangerous. He averaged 20.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.3 apg, and 3.0 spg. It was fitting that he got to punctuate the championship game with a dunk in the closing seconds.

Johnson showed off his skills throughout the tournament, as he was the engine for Bellevue West as they made it all the way to the semifinals, where they lost a close one to Papio South. He showed balance in his scoring, as he got downhill and paired that with a 50% three-point mark for the tournament. He again showed how dangerous he can be in transition, either for himself or his teammates. It is rarely enough just to use one guy to try to contain him. He averaged 25.0 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 6.0 apg, and 3.0 spg over two games in the tournament.

Falkinburg had a huge tournament and was one of the key reasons that Papio South was able to elevate to the moment and make it to the title game. The senior was over 50% from beyond the arc, which helped to stretch opposing defenses and force them to make some tough choices. He also provided a strong presence inside on both ends of the floor, and he had a nice jump hook in a big spot in the fourth quarter of the semifinal game against Bellevue West. Overall, he came up big in big moments and might have had his best game in the title game, where the Titans came up just short. He averaged 17.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.3 bpg, and 1.0 spg over three games.
