An obvious unanimous selection, Montague would have been our pick as the MVP of the state tournament. The senior guard was in control of the game at the point, carefully managing the game choosing when his own scoring was needed or when it was time to get his teammates involved. He was unstoppable getting to the basket and finishing, averaging 21.3 points on .590 field goal shooting, while also drawing plenty of contact and getting to the line where he converted at a .789 rate. 22 points and 4 assists in the title game against Crook County capped it all off.

Another unanimous pick for first team all-tournament, Lowenbach would have had a case for MVP honors even though the Cowboys lost in the title game. The 6-foot-9 post was simply dominant in all phases of the game as he averaged 25.3 points while leading all participants in rebounds (16.0) and blocks (4.3). He gave it his all with his 30 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 blocks in the title game against Parkrose, a game that will be recognized as one of the best individual performances in 5A title game history. Lowenbach is the state's top unsigned senior and he recently picked up a Division I offer from Idaho State, who came to watch him play at Linfield.

The third unanimous selection for first team all-tournament was Kettering, who really proved himself as a force to be reckoned with during the event. Using his 6-foot-7 frame, he overpowered smaller defenders underneath the basket on post-up opportunities, while also running the Storm offense at the point. He averaged 21.3 points on .588 field goal shooting while leading the tournament in assists at 5.0 per game. Defensively, he contributed with 2.3 blocks per contest as well. Kettering recently switched his college commitment to Pomona-Pitzer.

A first team all-tournament mention for the second year in a row for Lawson, this time coming from the consolation side of the bracket. Canby needed the senior to score so he got it done offensively at all three levels for the Cougars, averaging 20.0 points on .545 field goal shooting, a sizzling .500 from three-point range, and hitting 17-for-19 from the free throw line. He certainly didn't forget about passing the ball as he averaged 3.7 assists as well.

Making up for last year's tournament was Labounty, who helped lead the Colts to the 4th place trophy. The senior wing recorded 21.7 points per game largely on jumpers from mid-range on out, hitting them smoothly at a .545 percentage, hitting .533 from beyond the arc. Labounty didn't just score either as he was the team's leading rebounder at 7.3 boards per game and showed good toughness on the defensive end. He remains one of the top seniors that's unsigned.
