It's hard to believe Mitchell was barely on the radar of anyone other than hardcore followers last season, largely given the fact he was playing sub-varsity at Putnam. Now at Centennial, the sophomore is in the starting lineup and has already put up some double-digit scoring efforts for the Eagles. With his 6-foot-10 height, length, ability to run the floor, and vast upside the sky could be the limit for Mitchell.

There was a lot of buzz surrounding the transfers that came to Parkrose but as it turns out, it's the newcomer from out-of-state that has made the most surprising impact. The son of Broncos assistant coach Willie Hall has come in from Las Vegas and has become an immediate starter and leading scorer candidate in every game, using his smooth lefty jumper to drain threes or collect on floaters in the lane. He has an extremely efficient game where he knows how to get to his spots without having to spend too much time dribbling the basketball.

Wacker hasn't played as many varsity minutes so far this season as he's playing behind some more experienced players up front, but he's an entry into the rankings based largely on potential. The sophomore big man has solid size at 6-foot-7, runs the floor well, and has the ability to finish plays around the hoop with both hands.

Mason enters into the rankings after being previously listed on the watchlist. He's started some games early on for Wilsonville, showing the ability to score inside as well as step out and hit perimeter jumpers. Consistency will be the key for him to continue advancing up the board with his vast potential as a frontcourt prospect.

A transfer from Roosevelt, Onick has elevated himself into the starting lineup as one of the few options with size for the Gophers. Well-built at 6-foot-4, the sophomore has improved upon his speed and conditioning and is a solid option in the post with his footwork and soft touch around the hoop. He possesses a solid face-up jumper and is an underrated passer as well.

Natwick is a varsity newcomer who has been earning some minutes here and there for the defending 5A champions. The sophomore has the size to do damage in the lane but also the perimeter shot and ball-skills to make an impact facing the basket as well.
