[player_tooltip player_id='1560932' first='Landon' last='Veal'] proved to be effective out of the high post with a quick catch, turn, and shoot that kept the defense on its heels. On the low block, with his back to the basket, Veal was quick to jump-stop into the middle of the lane where his soft, quick push shot was money in the bank. [player_tooltip player_id='1560932' first='Landon' last='Veal'] ran the floor hard after misses, consistently sprinting the middle of the court to make himself a transition option. An incredible leaper with explosive pop, Veal proved to be an elite lob threat, especially in set actions where his timing and verticality stood out on backdoor alley-oops. Defensively, Veal rotated early, protected the paint, and showed good instincts as a shot blocker.

[player_tooltip player_id='1750107' first='Jaxson' last='Thompson'] got paint touches whenever he wanted, using high pickups and crafty footwork to split traffic. He handled perimeter pressure with ease, breaking defenders down with tight, shifty handles while creating angles with spins and behind-the-back moves. His touch was exceptional on floaters, runners, and contested finishes, making off-balance layups look routine with either hand.

A true lockdown defender with excellent lateral quickness, sliding his feet and staying squared at all times while sticking to his man like glue end to end. He consistently beat ball-handlers to spots, absorbed contact without losing balance, and applied relentless pressure the full length of the floor. Nothing came easy against him. Even against ball screens, Lewis stepped over picks with ease to stay attached, disrupting possessions and harassing opponents into rushed decisions.
