On the defensive side of the ball, Martin was sharp and disciplined with effective closeouts, consistently being active with hands on balls for deflections and steals in the passing lanes and finishing possessions with strong defensive rebounds. McGowen played with strong shot selection, scoring in space and attacking straight lines without ever disrupting the offense, showcasing his natural feel for the game.     A true lockdown defender with excellent lateral quickness, sliding his feet and staying squared at all times while sticking to his man like glue end to end. He consistently beat ball-handlers to spots, absorbed contact without losing balance, and applied relentless pressure the full length of the floor. Nothing came easy against him. Even against ball screens, Lewis stepped over picks with ease to stay attached, disrupting possessions and harassing opponents into rushed decisions.
