No matter the position, role, or volume of three-point attempts, this isn't a list limited to pure shooters. Instead, it highlights players who consistently pose a threat from behind the arc and are putting together strong seasons shooting it from deep. For some, the three-point shot is a primary weapon; for others, it's a second or third option within the flow of the offense. Either way, their production from downtown has made an impact. Here's a look at some of the most impressive perimeter seasons in the Sixteenth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='1359133' first='Jacob' last='Spurlock'] is a legitimate Mr. Basketball candidate and one of the premier shooters in the state, a distinction he's held well beyond just this season. He ranks second statewide in three-pointers per game (4.3), ninth in three-point percentage (45.3%), and third in total made threes (87). Spurlock consistently creates his own shot, extends defenses with near-limitless range, and remains effective even with defenders closing hard. His ability to get shots off under pressure and convert at a high rate separates him from most perimeter scorers.

He showcased his scoring ability against Montgomery County, pouring in 29 points and knocking down six triples. Smith is comfortable shooting from several feet beyond the arc and does an excellent job getting his body and feet set. He can stop on a dime and pull up with balance, consistently converting from deep in both spot-up and off-the-dribble situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='1402182' first='Parker' last='Trusty'] ranks among the state's top perimeter shooters, averaging 2.7 made three-pointers per game with 46 total makes while shooting 36.8% from beyond the arc. His shooting touch was on full display in a January matchup against West Carter, where he scored 15 points and went 5-of-8 from deep. Trusty is a versatile shooter who can score in a variety of situations—off the dribble, on quick catch-and-shoot opportunities, and coming off screens. He's also comfortable extending his range beyond the three-point line, forcing defenses to pick him up well outside the arc.
