In a game devoid of offensive fireworks, Morton-Rivera made all the difference with a blistering shooting performance on his way to 27 points. The First Team All-League performer and Temple signee started out slow with Judge out to an early deficit but quickly shook it off, accumulating 20 of his 27 in the middle two quarters as Judge established momentum. He connected on a trio of 3's, staying in consistent motion off-ball to shake free for clean looks. As the game went on, he would gain confidence off the bounce, flowing into midrange jumpers and getting all the way to the rim for smooth finishes. Aside from his scoring, Morton-Rivera's steely approach and mental toughness were crucial to send Judge to Sunday's title game.

Matched up with the most daunting interior presence in the league, Adedeji not only held his own but got the better of Wood's four-star junior [player_tooltip player_id='2397578' first='Jaydn' last='Jenkins']. It wasn't always pretty, but Adedeji grinded his way to seven points and eight rebounds to help engineer the win. He was effective as a cleanup man inside and even showed some ability to create his own shot out of the post. His rebounding and interior defense were crucial as well and his activity inside was key toward getting Jenkins in early foul trouble. Adedeji continues to trend up as a D1 frontcourt prospect.

He didn't make a field goal and wouldn't score his first points until late in the fourth quarter, but make no mistake Westfield was a crucial piece to the win with his hard-nosed two-way floor game. The Merrimack commit ran the show from start to finish, keeping his team organized in the face of an early deficit while racking up 5 assists and taking good care of the ball. Perhaps more important was the defense he played on Wood's All-League guard [player_tooltip player_id='2206834' first='Caleb' last='Lundy'], picking up at halfcourt and mirroring the ball to perfection while forcing turnovers left and right. His performance was a perfect encapsulation of how to impact games without scoring from the lead guard position.

A veteran of the Palestra experience by this point, Moshinski was unfazed by the bright lights and stepped up with a tough-nosed effort on the wing. He was effective as a slasher, helped space the floor for Judge's other perimeter pieces, and played versatile defense with his size, athleticism, and toughness. Even on what wasn't his best night, Moshinski was still able to show some of the value he'll bring to the MAAC with a member of his future coaching staff in the crowd looking on.

While Wood largely struggled offensively, MacAdams did his part with an efficient 15 points despite the loss. He was key toward the Vikings' early spurt, coming out aggressive and scoring nine points in the opening quarter and change while Wood established a double-digit lead. The Marist commit was effective spacing the floor from the perimeter as a shooter off the catch and also put strong pressure on the rim as a slasher driving past closeouts. His well-rounded scoring ability project well toward making an impact in Poughkeepsie before too long.
