[player_tooltip player_id='2673170' first='Covin' last='Winter'] - The 2028 sophomore forward continues to rise for Mankato Loyola. In a win against Le Sueur the six-foot-five-inch forward scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Winter showed improved perimeter shooting making five 3-pointers and multiple times he took the ball off the dribble versus Le Sueur's skilled big man. Winter also put his creator abilities to work for 7 assists and came away with two blocks.

https://twitter.com/CovinWinter2028/status/2023225843800064258?t=lu0RXbDZF9PKxgpA623drQ&s=19

[player_tooltip player_id='2121346' first='Henry' last='Percic'] - The six-foot left handed guard against East Ridge scored 22 points while putting on a shooting display from the perimeter. Percic is quick in the half-court that enables him to get shots off the dribble and works well in designed actions. He has a really solid handle and plays the lead guard spot well for the Ponies.

https://twitter.com/Henrypercic/status/2023102742752113030?t=8iisI56Jui2X1NRQQQTwww&s=19

[player_tooltip player_id='2417301' first='Hunter' last='Vinkemeier'] - February 6th Vinkemeier had a 42 point, 28 rebound game. This past week against Mankato Loyola the 2027 six-foot-ten-inch junior scored 32 points and grabbed 24 rebounds. The Le Sueur-Henderson big man is showing perimeter scoring ability shooting spot-ups and even an ability to handle the ball and make shots off the dribble. Vinkemeier is expanding his game in ways to make him more productive with the ball. Vinkemeier's size and length make him a problem for teams offensively.

<iframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/21331250/6992b096cb49f3918b7484f6' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen></iframe>

[player_tooltip player_id='2858361' first='John' last='Omoyeni'] - The six-foot-five-inch 2027 wing from Hill-Murray Omoyeni scored 27 points while grabbing 10 rebounds versus #1 ranked Tartan this week. Omoyeni is Hill-Murray's top scorer and continues to produce consistently. Omoyeni is a strong perimeter driver with the ball, and very active on the offense and defense side of the floor.

https://twitter.com/john_omoyeni/status/2022725941949071447?t=iMw4UdTCEcfYRFuoPSSrDQ&s=19

[player_tooltip player_id='2140673' first='Omar' last='Said'] - Said is coming off a 30 point game in January in which he hit seven 3-pointers while grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing 6 assists. The 2027 junior six-foot-five-inch guard from Mounds Park Academy scored 18 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, snagged 7 steals, and had 5 assists against Community of Peace. Said has grown in the last year and that extra height makes him more difficult to guard and gives him an advantage going to the rim and finishing.

https://twitter.com/OmarSaid2027/status/2023252831034368463

[player_tooltip player_id='2121367' first='Dre' last='Ellis'] - Anoka won their 9th game in a row Thursday beating Champlin Park 78-44 and 2026 senior Ellis went for 23 points in the win. The five-foot-ten-inch senior has impressed me, leading Anoka as their lead guard, handling the ball, scoring, and getting the offense going. Ellis' improvement with the ball has enabled him to be more than just a spot-up shooter and against Champlin Park he made it a point to get into the paint. Ellis also showed off his perimeter shooting with some deep 3-pointers.

https://twitter.com/Davidellis456/status/2023119968863183002

[player_tooltip player_id='3102819' first='AJ' last='Bessler'] - In a win over Pine River-Backus recently the six-foot-six-inch 2026 Nevis forward scored 30 points. Bessler is super active for Nevis as their leading scorer and rebounder. He has the ability to shoot from the perimeter along with his solid interior scoring ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560851' first='Hamze' last='Yusuf'] - The Eden Prairie Eagles senior six-foot-two-inch speedy guard is averaging 24 points per game through 17 games. Last week against Wayzata he scored 16 points and had 20 points against Chanhassen in a win. Yusuf has shown improved ability in the half-court as the lead ball handler, attacker, scorer and offensive engine. He has harnessed his speed and quick with the ball so well and become more efficient. Yusuf's perimeter shooting percentage is high and he can be hard to catch up with in transition with the speed he has when he has the ball in his hands.

Covin Winter Covin Winter Covin Winter 6'6" | SG/SF Mankato Loyola Catholic | 2028 State MN - The 2028 sophomore forward continues to rise for Mankato Loyola.
