Woodhaven topped Bedford by a score of 76-49 to advance to the district championship. Harrington led the way by scoring a team high 17 points. This should be no surprise as the smooth guard has been a reliable scorer for Woodhaven all season long.

This was the first big upset of the playoffs - a 45-43 Oxford win against Grand Blanc. Elling has been getting some ink and this is exactly why. The young man has the ability to help carry teams to big wins like this. He's a strong post player that can also stretch the floor. Elling finished the game with 23 points.

Brother Rice topped Groves by a score of 72-52. The electric guard is a key part of a team that I believe has Breslin Center type of talent. McDaniel showed his explosiveness with a 19 point and 4 assist performance. Not many freshman can put up those types of numbers come playoff time.

Rockford came out on top of Mona Shores by a score of 76-57. Any number of Rockford players could be here in this article, as a lot of them had impressive stat lines. We went with Wolfe and his 19 points. Mainly because he had a really nice little scoring run that really seemed to seal the result.

Parchment advanced in the playoffs with a 57-48 win against Vicksburg. Gilmore was the offensive spark for his team. He had a game high 24 points on the night. Gilmore isn't just an electric lead guard. He's also a quick high energy perimeter defender.

Adrian earned a 73-57 win against Columbia Central. If you've been watching, it's no surprise that J5 went off in the win. He's been doing it and did it again. Francis finished with 27 points. He also added 9 rebounds and 3 steals to his stat line.
