We just posted our initial rankings of the 2029 class. With just a top 20 right now, there are still plenty of names out there to uncover. But first, let's get to know our top five players headlining this 2029 class.

The talented freshman guard has emerged as the Vikings' second option this season, which speaks volumes to the maturity of his game, taking a lead role on such a talented team. He is already among the best shooters in the state and continues to show his ability to separate on the perimeter. Crawford has been dealing with a bum ankle, but he will be a key player for Beach when he returns during their playoff run.

Another standout freshman from Rainier Beach, Harris has the lengthy frame that really sets him apart from his peers at 6-foot-9, but he's also shown some promising skills that suggest a bright future. His work rate on the glass has been great; he uses those long arms, attacks the ball, and has been aggressive with his touches in close. He's also displayed some coordination and ball skills in transition, with the ability to take the ball on a breakaway and run the floor as a pretty mobile and athletic big man.

Thomas has shown a lot to like in his first season at Annie Wright. He's already got some pure shot-making ability from different levels, has flashed some athleticism that should show up in a much bigger way down the line, and possesses a level of poise that helps him slow the game down. You can really see his vision for the game in some of his contested shots around the paint. He's able to feel space closing and get good shots off where other players might rush or even pass up looks.

Williams is possibly the most electric athlete in this class, and his physical maturity has already led to some big highlights and clutch minutes with Eastside Catholic. He's a kid who can get on the rim but also uses that burst and strength to fight through contact, finish around bodies, and work to the foul line. He's already been able to spur some runs for the Crusaders this year and has some big-time potential.

Whitfield is another high-level shooter from this 2029 class. While we got to see him display an advanced feel for getting to his spots in some of the AAU and fall camps, he's been able to make his mark during the high school season with spot-up 3-point shooting and some controlled attacks on closeouts. He's been pretty efficient with his dribbles, and his continued development could have West Valley bringing back one of the top backcourts in the state next season.
