Wilcox has been one of the best players in the Richmond area since he was a freshman where he was an All Region selection, and he followed it up as a sophomore with another All Region selection and helped lead Atlee to their first state championship in school history. The 6'6” forward is a walking mismatch as he's a dead eye shooter from deep, he can attack off the perimeter to get to spots, he's strong enough to post and is a good rebounder in the paint, and he's got great instincts as a passer and a defender as well.

14) Bodi Corley | 6'7” PF | James River (#59 Overall)

Curley started to make a name for himself toward the end of his sophomore season, and has had a great start to his junior season as he's emerged as James River's go-to guy who can impact the game on both ends of the floor. He's a big time athlete who tries to dunk everything in the paint offensively and challenge every shot defensively, he hits the glass hard on the offensive end for extra possessions, he's got good touch around the rim and can step out to 18 feet, and he brings great energy that is infectious to his teammates too.

13) [player_tooltip player_id='3275747' first='Kyrei' last='Haywood'] | 6'8” PF | Peninsula Catholic (#55 Overall)

Haywood was a breakout player in the fall this year at CBG events with Peninsula Catholic, and when it comes to upside there's not many that have a ceiling like Haywood if he's able to get to it. Standing 6'8” with long arms he's a fluid and explosive athlete who can run the floor and finish above the rim, he's a very good rebounder who can crash the offensive glass for put-backs, he's a good rim protector and moves his feet well on switches defensively, and he is showing signs of being able to play on the perimeter too.

12) [player_tooltip player_id='1963395' first='Cameron' last='Prosper'] | 6'7” PF | Bethel Academy (#52 Overall)

Prosper transferred to Bethel Academy from Hayfield where he reclassified to the 2027 class, and now that he's focused on basketball he has a chance to really improve and be a scholarship player moving forward. At 6'7” he's a fluid athlete who can run the floor and finish above the rim, he can post smaller players and finish around the rim, he can step out and has a budding skillset on the perimeter, and his versatility and ability to guard multiple positions defensively is something that's very impressive.

11) [player_tooltip player_id='2624511' first='Germain' last='Green'] | 6'7” PF | Norcom (#51 Overall)

Green has quietly been one of the top players in the 757 over the past few years, and so far this season he's been nothing short of dominant so far this season putting up big numbers and double-doubles routinely. The 6'7” forward is able to impact the game on both ends of the floor with his size and athleticism, he has a unique skillset with the ability to score it on the perimeter and in the paint, he can size up slower defenders and create his own shot, and he's a monster on the glass on both ends of the floor.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='3275745' first='O'Neal' last='Allotey'] | 6'8” C | Mount Vernon (#49 Overall)

Allotey has been one of the breakout stars in the NOVA area as he's been consistently putting up big numbers across the board, and I fully expect him to move up these rankings because the scary thing is he's only been playing basketball since he entered high school two years ago. The 6'8” big man is a good athlete who get above the rim to finish and works relentlessly on the offensive end, he has good touch with both hands around the rim and he's already able to stretch the floor from deep, he's a good rim protector and gives good energy defensively, and he has an IQ well beyond his experience as he sees doubles coming and is a very good passer too.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='2891271' first='David' last='Massengo'] | 6'8” C | Saint James (#41 Overall)

Massengo is one of a number of new players in the rankings that came to Saint James for their first season, and while he's still a bit of a project he has a chance to be a very good player as he improves his body and his game. At 6'8” he's a force in the paint as he's able to outmuscle defenders to rebound and finish around the rim, he clogs the lane defensively and does a good job walling up and challenging shots, he has good touch out to the elbows, and he is surprisingly athletic for his size and will only get more explosive as he gets his body right.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='2470603' first='Nathan' last='Lessley'] | 6'7” PF | Cox (#39 Overall)

Lessley had a breakout season at Cox last year and followed it up with a good summer on the MHC with Rock It, and he's got a chance to be a sleeper prospect as he finishes growing into his body and polishing his already versatile skillset that he has. The 6'7” forward has a basketball frame with long arms and good flexibility that makes him quick and explosive when he gets downhill, he can knock down shots from deep off the catch, he can size up defenders off the bounce and get to spots to hit tough shots, and he has all the tools to be a lock down defender moving forward too.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='2108094' first='Braydon' last='Young'] | 6'8” PF | Paul VI (#36 Overall)

Young transferred to PVI this summer from the Baltimore area, and while he's still a bit of a project there's a lot to like about him moving forward as a possible D1 prospect. At 6'8” he has size and length that you can't teach, he's a walking mismatch as he can post and score while also being able to step outside and shoot the three ball, he runs the floor well, and he's got huge upside defensively as a rim protector and with the way he moves his feet.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='2896959' first='Daniel' last='Russell'] | 6'9” C | Potomac School (#28 Overall)

Russell emerged last summer with Potomac School at the DMV Live Periods, and he's continued to show he is a player college coaches should start checking out now as he is college ready in a lot of ways. The first thing that stands out is relatively obvious, as he stands a legit 6'9”-6'10”, which is something you won't be able to find in most gyms. He plays with a good motor and a tough chip you don't see all the time with players his size, he's willing to bang in the paint and can finish through contact, he's an athletic finisher and rebounder, and he has shown signs of being able to stretch the floor too.
