Just like that, the final month of the regular season in high school basketball is here and man, what a season it has been. We have seen many players across the state break out, multiple great games, and still even have a few unbeaten teams remaining. With the final month about to start and Sectionals just right around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to take a look at under-the-radar players to watch this final month. Here are five players from the 2026 class.

One of the top under-the-radar prospects that we are going to talk about to kick us off here is senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1561096' first='Mar' last='Nicholson'] from Shelbyville HS. Nicholson has always been a player with great upside during his high school career and that came true this season. He is averaging 14.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists all while shooting 59% from the field. He is one of the more productive wings that will find in the in-state senior class being a guy that makes plays both on and off the ball.

An under-the-radar player that feels like he has just constantly gotten better and better over his high school career is senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2541107' first='Aiden' last='Coffey']. This season, it feels like you see him have big game after big game for the Raiders and being their top option a lot of the time. A physical, skilled guard, Coffey is best known as a high volume scorer that can get hot at any moment. A top small school prospect in the in-state 2026 class.

A guard that has really stepped in a lot of ways this season has been senior ball handler Oamri Thomas of Franklin Community High School. For the Grizzly Cubs, he is their top guy and is averaging a team-high 13.6 points while adding 4.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists for them. He is a small college prospect that has such a great feel for the game being able to mix it up in the lane, create on the ball, and knock down jumpers. Whichever school can get him at the next level may get a steal.

When you are on a team like Fishers that has so much talent from top-to-bottom, you can often get overlooked however, senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2575585' first='Jean-Claude' last='L'homme'] is one of the more important pieces for the Tigers this season. A high IQ guard, L'homme is about as steady of a player as you can get in the backcourt at the high school level with his ability to make plays on both ends of the floor. He has averaged 4.5 points for the Fishers Tigers this season but his leadership has been what has stood out the most. Has offers from both Franklin College and IU Kokomo.

Out of all of the under-the-radar guys that we at Prep Hoops Indiana have had a chance to watch this season, [player_tooltip player_id='1561049' first='Max' last='Flanagan'] has stood out in many ways, especially when it comes to his elite outside shooting. He has been one of the keys guys for Noblesville this year with him averaging 8.2 points while shooting 42% from the field. He is a big size wing that knows where to be off the ball in order to get the best shooting opportunity he can get. Holds offers from schools such as Wabash and Trine University.
