Drew has been lighting it up from beyond the arc lately for the Broncos. Recently, Drew broke the school record at Mustang with nine three-pointers. He also currently holds the record at his former school, Yukon, with eight. I mean, the kid can shoot it off the dribble or off the catch — it doesn't matter. He recently had 29 points against Owasso, one of the top teams in the state, and the majority of those points came from three. Drew is the best shooter in the state of Oklahoma!

T.J. Newton has proven himself as one of the state's best shooters. The sophomore has multiple games with four or more made threes, including a 27-point performance against Jenks where he hit seven from deep. He also knocked down eight threes versus Crossings Christian in the Edmond Open.

I recently watched Newton at the Bishop McGuinness Tournament, where he was especially impressive from beyond the arc. In the Santa Fe vs. Crossings championship game, he was scoreless through the first half and midway through the third quarter, then caught fire after one three fell and finished with a game-high 19 points.

Newton can shoot it off the dribble or off the catch, has a smooth handle, and is one of the top players in the Class of 2028—possibly top five right now.

Tyson is known for his scoring ability and shifty handles, but what really stands out is how effortlessly he shoots the three ball—well beyond college range. Pogi has limitless range, and with that level of three-point shooting in his arsenal, it makes scoring much easier for him. Over his last five games, he's averaging around 30 points per game, including an impressive 47-point performance in a win over Deer Creek.

Mekhi has continued to prove that he is one of the best shooters in the state. I watched him against Jenks, and he exploded from beyond the arc—pump fakes, sidestep threes, catch-and-shoots—anything PC North needed from the three-point line, he delivered. I spoke with Thomas and head coach DJ Lemons, and Thomas stated that Coach Lemons wants Mekhi shooting at least 10 threes per game. That should tell you exactly what kind of shooter Mekhi is.

Johnson is a sniper for the Carl Albert Titans. Recently, he went off for a Mustang Tournament record of 10 three-pointers while recording a season- and career-high 34 points. This Kid shot 10-12 from three when setting that record, He does a great job relocating and has a quick release. He is a shooter to watch in the state as the next three years of Oklahoma high school basketball unfold.

Hamilton is a shooter. He really stretches the floor out for Mount St. Mary's and causes problems for defenses. He uses screens well to get open and get his shot off. Maddox has a really fast release off the catch, and his movement and footwork when getting to his spots are really great. Not only is he a good shooter, he doesn't really force threes, he plays in the flow of the game really well.

Aiden is a lethal stretch forward who is really raising his stock. The 6'8” wing has a very nice jumper, and with his height, he is shooting over defenders with no problem, whether it's off the catch or off the dribble. He has a high release, making it hard for defenders to contest, and he shoots the ball at a high clip. Versus Putnam City North, Bezenah shot the ball extremely well, hitting four timely threes and answering PC North every time they went on a run. He is a very special talent and could possibly put his name on the national radar as time goes on.
