Looking for a sharp shooter in the senior class? During a nine day period I covered games from Jacobs, Elgin, Wheeling, Hinsdale Central, Jack Tosh, Collinsville, Pekin, Duster-Thomas, and Pontiac. We saw a few senior snipers!

Evan Shectman (Barrington – 2026)

Shectman can really shoot the ball. One of the better pure shot makers we saw at the Hinkle Holiday Classic as he poured in four from beyond the arc for 14 points.

Will Stratigos (Prospect – 2026)

Stratigos stepped up in Prospect's victory against Hampshire as the lefty combo guard caught fire from deep going 3-6 from three for 13 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552450' first='Mark' last='Render'] (Antioch – 2026)

Render is an under the radar shooter in the 2026 class. The 6'1” two guard is a plus spot up shooter as he showed in their game against Waukegan draining three of them.

[player_tooltip player_id='2435304' first='Ledarrel' last='Goss'] (Lake View – 2026)

Explosive senior guard can also fill it up with his jumper! Against Sycamore he poured in four from beyond the arc along with a couple crisp mid-range shots in a 27 point outing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552439' first='Logan' last='Luxem'] (Hersey – 2026)

Luxem had 14 points in a second round win at Elgin. It was jumper that was feathery as usual draining multiple threes along with crisp pull ups inside the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='2416503' first='Charlie' last='Pomis'] (Hersey – 2026)

Pomis was straight money from three for Hersey as he hit five from beyond the arc along with a plethora of mid-range jumpers in a 34 point outing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1845364' first='Morgan' last='Travis'] (Perspectives – 2026)

Travis was on fire from three in their win in the first round going 5-6 from three. Shot it with a ton of confidence netting 20 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2890100' first='Brayden' last='Borrowman'] (Oswego – 2026)

Borrowman is a flame thrower from beyond the arc which he showcased once again against DGS as he banged in three from deep finishing with 13 points.

Bryce Harris (Conant – 2026)

The senior wing shot lights out against St. Francis in a game that seriously lacked offense. He was the difference pouring in four triples for 12 points.

Ryan Crane (Lemont – 2026)

Crane continues to see his stock go up with each outing! Plus shot maker from beyond the arc off the catch that made five of them against Glenbard North for 17 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2540096' first='Rafael' last='Pinto'] (Fremd – 2026)

Pinto was his usual self in the championship game at Wheeling as the guard with good size knocked in three from deep netting 13 points. One of the more underappreciated shooters in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2890389' first='Khymir' last='Carson'] (Decatur MacArthur – 2026)

Carson was phenomenal shooting the rock from deep as he had 31 points in a win against Triad to move his team to the title game. Made seven triples banging in heat checks one after another!

[player_tooltip player_id='2217958' first='Drew' last='Lundberg'] (West Aurora – 2026)

One of the better catch and shoot small college gems in the state. The tough wing can really shoot it from deep.

Jake Love (St. Charles North – 2026)

Love is a 6'2” sharp shooter from St. Charles North that impressed in a pair of tournaments over the holidays. Quick and consistent shot mechanics.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552486' first='Danny' last='Houlihan'] (New Trier – 2026)

You didn't think we weren't going to have the best pure catch and shoot guy in the state on here did you? Houlihan dropped a cool 16 points with a big second half shooting performance draining pull ups from two and tough contested threes even when he was fouled in a win over HF.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552419' first='Ryan' last='Walsh'] (Benet – 2026)

Walsh is a big time shot maker from beyond the arc! He can really let it fly at a high clip off the catch! Made three of them in an 11 point outing against Manual.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839863' first='Michael' last='Nee'] (Glenbard East – 2026)

South Dakota commit hit clutch shots one after another against St. Ignatius as he notched 23 points and 6 rebounds.
