Webster Groves vs. SLUH: Spotlighting Key Prospects

As usual, Atkinson demonstrated his high-level basketball IQ. He also showed leadership and intensity. Williams continued to play a strong supporting role as a perimeter shooter. In fact, 15 of Williams' 19 points came from behind the arc. Webster Groves defeated the Jr. Bills 83–60.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That said, the game would not be handed to the Statesmen. St. Louis University High's [player_tooltip player_id='2417877' first='John' last='Hawkins'] (#2) and Sebastian Tate (#32) kept the team within reach. They made several valiant efforts to take the lead. Hawkins is a 6'6” center. He uses his reach to his advantage. He excels by tipping away rebounds and stretching his jump shot. Hawkins handles the ball well. He is a reliable perimeter shooter. Tate uses his size and strength to his advantage. He uses his body to clear the lane and create room for ahead drives to the rim. Zeigler is a multi-sport athlete. He has a good sense of the game. He uses his body positioning to create turnovers. He also has offensive potential with a smooth shot and the ability to distribute the ball around the perimeter.
