<p>Week 8 of the Indiana high school basketball is officially wrapped up and we had a big slate of high school hoops going on last night in Indiana. Let us dive on in and take a look at a few highlights of Saturday's night of hoops.</p>

<p><strong>Marion County Championship Results</strong></p>

<p>The finals of one of the best county tournaments in the state took place last night and it was once again a big time showdown. In the end, it was the Lawrence North Wildcats defeating the Pike Red Devils 58-55 in overtime. Lawrence North was led by senior duo [player_tooltip player_id='1561031' first='Cameron' last='Webster'] with 18 points and [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] with 14 points. On the Pike side, sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley'] led them with 17 points. It was a true classic of a game which the Lawrence North Wildcats improve to 14-1 on the season. </p>

<p><strong>Johnson County Championship Results</strong></p>

<p>Not only was the Marion County Champion crowned last night, so was the Johnson County Championship, as well. Off 24 points (19 points coming in the 2Q) from [player_tooltip player_id='2140412' first='Kyle' last='Edwards'], Whiteland defeated Franklin 77-67 to win the Johnson County Championship. [player_tooltip player_id='2892568' first='Dane' last='Kunz'] actually led the game with 27 points for Whiteland while Franklin was led by [player_tooltip player_id='1560956' first='Omari' last='Thomas'] with 24 points. This was the first Johnson County Championship for Whiteland in the school's history. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2617833' first='Ishmael' last='Kiteka'] drops double-double</strong></p>

<p>A sophomore big man that is slowly emerging into one of the top prospects in that in-state 2028 class is Cloverdale's [player_tooltip player_id='2617833' first='Ishmael' last='Kiteka']. In Cloverdale's 57-50 win over Irvington Prep, Kiteka dropped a big time double-double of 34 points and 12 rebounds, truly establishing a dominant presence in that game. With the win, Cloverdale is 8-5 on the year thus far. </p>
