The 5-foot-7 point guard is super undersized, but he's insanely quick and can effortlessly use his first step to breeze by his initial defender. Once he gets into the paint, he takes contact super well and can finish with the best of them. An improved three point shot would certainly help with his lack of size, and he should be able to find a college program as a result when the time comes.

Blackburn had a big time performance against Blair Academy, one of the best prep schools in the country, at HoopHall last weekend. The 6-foot-6 wing had 30 points and was consistently scoring at both the rim and from the perimeter. He loves the hesitation dribble with his right hand and generates an incredible amount of explosiveness at the rim. He also has proven that he can make spot up threes. Defensively, he uses his athleticism to protect the rim and is willing to put his body on the line for charges. Scholarship player.

Robinson had an awesome game against top-ranked NEPSAC opponent Kingswood-Oxford last week, showcasing an impressive ability to score the ball from all three levels. The 6-foot guard has excellent quickness off the dribble and really knows how to use his off hand to burst by his defender. But against KO, he showed off some nice shooting touch from the perimeter, which I didn't necessarily know he had. His shot has a slight hitch, but if he can knock it down consistently, it won't matter given how well-rounded his offensive game is besides that.

Dehaney had an excellent performance—24 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds—in a one point win for Proctor against a very talented Holderness squad a few days ago. The 5-foot-11 guard shot it well from three, both on the move and off the dribble, and he also operated comfortably in the pick and roll and as a point guard. He's super quick and shifty, and he understands how to leverage his center of gravity and first step to get by defenders and make up for his lack of size. He's a pure point guard who should be a high D3 prospect when the time comes.

Frazier is a 6-foot-5 wing who's simply oversized at that position for the MIAA. He definitely uses his size and length to his advantage against smaller players, but I'm super impressed with his ability to shoot the ball from three. He has a beautiful-looking shot, and he has very deep range, which is effective especially given how tall he is and how difficult it is for other bigs to get out to him. Frazier needs to improve his ability to play on the inside, but the outside shooting is very intriguing.

Nash is electric. The 6-foot guard had 22 points and scored his 2,000th point recently in a game against Trinity-Pawling School, and it was his outside shooting that shined. He was 5-6 from three and made shots off the dribble and off the catch. But he also throws some amazing passes off the live dribble with both hands and has some amazing handles in small spaces. I don't know what his recruitment looks like, but he's probably a guy that should get some D2 looks. He's fun to watch and can run your team.

Brown has been an amazing player for Charlestown High School this season and recently had a 49 point performance in a win against Madison Park High School. The 6-foot-1 guard can make shots from three, but he's also incredibly quick and can dart to the rim for quick finishes. It's his defense, too, that's allowing him to stuff the stat sheet—he gets so many steals and that leads to lots of breakaway finishes.

Ocasio is so fundamentally sound. The Deerfield senior recently had 18 points, 3 assists and 3 steals in a win against previously undefeated Phillips Andover. He has a beautiful-looking shot and made four threes against PA, but he can also drive closeouts and finish at the rim when he needs to—he uses slow steps and general footwork quite effectively, and he does a good job using his body and spinning off of defenders. Ocasio is uncommitted but will absolutely find a college fit.

We're essentially at the midway point of the winter basketball season, and I'm trying to catch as many games and highlights as I can.
