Nash is electric. The 6-foot guard had 22 points and scored his 2,000th point recently in a game against Trinity-Pawling School, and it was his outside shooting that shined. He was 5-6 from three and made shots off the dribble and off the catch. But he also throws some amazing passes off the live dribble with both hands and has some amazing handles in small spaces. I don’t know what his recruitment looks like, but he’s probably a guy that should get some D2 looks. He’s fun to watch and can run your team.

Nash is a super skilled guard who consistently puts pressure on the defense with his ability to get to the rack. He plays with a high IQ, showing a strong feel for timing, spacing, and decision-making. Nash does a good job of reading help defenders and finding teammates when the defense collapses. As a scorer, he’s comfortable creating his own shot and finishing through traffic. He shows patience in the half court and rarely looks rushed with the ball in his hands. His skill level allows him to impact the game both on and off the ball. Overall, Nash is a reliable offensive presence who makes those around him better while still being able to score when needed.

Nash is another prospect that had a strong summer, both on the travel circuit and during the scholastic periods. He doesn’t pop physically when he steps on the floor, but once he gets the ball in his hands it’s a different story. He’s got a lightning quick first step, some real wiggle when getting into the paint, and the ability to make some creative passes off his drives. His quickness stands out on the defensive end too, where he has the ability to create turnovers and then transition to the offensive end of the floor in the blink of an eye. He plays with a good understanding of pace and when to switch speeds, has plus burst when attacking off the bounce, and knows how to read defenses out of ball screens.

Nash is a speedy guard who uses his quickness to break down defenses and get into the paint at will. He’s crafty with the ball, showcasing creative finishes and sharp passing once inside. Defensively, he applies that same craftiness to disrupt opponents and force turnovers. His relentless energy and two-way impact make him a constant threat on the floor.

Nash is a high-octane scorer who had no problem letting his offense do the talking. He uses his quickness to blow by defenders to get paint touches. He spends his fair share of time at the foul line. Nash showed that he can find the rim from behind the three point line. Nash showed some flashes as a facilitator. I would like to see Nash become more efficient with his output at times I feel like he can just be getting shots up to get them up. Nash is a prospect who should garner low major attention.

Nash, a member of the 17U HGSL squad, is a playmaking guard out of Avon Old Farms School in Connecticut. One of the better lead guards in New England, he has done a great job of showing his ability to run an offense this spring. He plays at different speeds with the ball in his hands, makes great reads out of ball screens, and has high level floor vision in the half-court. When he doesn’t have the ball, he’s proven to be a consistent perimeter shooter that can get hot in a hurry from downtown. On the other end of the floor, he does a great job of guarding at the point of attack, forcing opposing ball-handlers to give the ball up early and making it hard for them to get it back.

Nash was one of the main (and few) CT Elite guys that could get into the paint against a really tough Mass Rivals perimeter defense. He used his ultra-quick first step and change of speed hesitations to blow by his initial defender, and then he had some really crafty inside hand finishes at the hoop, even with his left. He’s also able to shoot it from long range, though he got a bit shot-happy at times. Nash seems like a D2 player who’s size will likely make him not go as high as his skillset warrants. I’ll be curious to see how he progresses next year and the type of role he plays on Avon Old Farms.
