As we wrap up our rankings coverage for the Class of 2028, we want to highlight a few prospects that fell just outside of the rankings and ended up on the Watch List.

In most cases, these are prospects that might be new to the region, have recently appeared on our radar, or that we simply haven't had the chance to evaluate in person.

Below are five prospects from the Watch List that we'll have our eyes on this winter.

Turpin, a guard out of Saint John's High School in Massachusetts, has established himself as a double-digit scorer in the MIAA and because of his early season production, finds himself on the Watch List. The combo guard has the ability to direct an offense in the half-court, but really impresses as a movement scorer. He does a nice job of getting off the ball, using screens to get open, and sliding off of drives into open passing windows. His release is clean and quick and he makes threes in bunches. He's definitely a prospect to keep an eye on in the next rankings update.

Kasule, a forward out of Concord Academy in Massachusetts, appears on the Watch List for the first time due to his intriguing long-term potential. The 6'4" wing has some inside-out scoring ability, particularly when he's cutting or slashing to the rim, where his length and fluidity allow him to finish in a variety of ways. He can step out behind the arc and knock down catch and shoot jumpers and impresses with his developing overall skill-set. Defensively, he has the ability to guard up and down a position, uses his length to rebound in traffic, and is disruptive both on the ball and in passing lanes.

Allen, a forward out of Springfield Commonwealth Academy in Massachusetts, makes his first appearance on the Watch List after transferring into the region to attend SCA. The 6'8" forward is an impressive athlete that uses his combination of size, length, and bounce to finish with authority on one end and to protect the rim on the other. His activity level, on both ends of the floor, stands out as he's a quality rim runner in transition that also does a nice job of guarding in space with his fluidity.

Brodsky, a guard out of Ridgefield High School in Connecticut, makes his rankings debut on the Watch List after catching our attention with his ability to find his scoring within the flow of an offense. The combo guard does a nice job of moving without the basketball, particularly when finding open passing windows, and is always shot ready on the catch. He's a floor spacer that can make shots consistently from behind the arc, does a nice job of moving the ball quickly and decisively, and limits his turnovers.

Torres, a guard out of East Catholic High School in Connecticut, makes his first appearance on the Watch List and should quickly jump into the ranked category come March. A big, physical guard, he does a terrific job of reading plays before they develop on the defensive end of the floor. With a high activity level, he's able to create turnovers both as an on-ball defender and off the ball in passing lanes. Offensively, he uses his strength to his advantage as a downhill driver, where he can both create for others and finish at the rim himself. Beyond that, he's quickly developing into one of the better underclassmen shooters in the CIAC.
