<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><a><em>***Use Code “ScottyB30” for 30% off your annual subscription***</em></a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Monday we updated the 2027 rankings and expanded the list to 300 prospects!&nbsp; Who are the best post players in the class?&nbsp; These are the premier at the position in Illinois!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125634' first='Hayden' last='Schroeder'] (Wheaton Academy)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Schroeder holds down his position as the top post in the 2027 class.&nbsp; The four man plays with a nice combination of skill, toughness, athleticism, and is productive!&nbsp;&nbsp; Explosive finisher out of the dunker spot, quick post moves, gets deep post position, runs the floor well, and is a plus rebounder.&nbsp; Very quick to the glass off the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323620' first='Ed' last='Stasys'] (Benet)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stasys made a big jump up to #4 overall in the class.&nbsp; His rise up the board has been steady in each update.&nbsp; Stasys is shining as a rebounder, defender, and finisher this season for Benet.&nbsp; Strong four man that is a plus athlete.&nbsp; He is a dominant rebounder on both ends of the floor high pointing them and snatching with two hands in traffic.&nbsp; Defensively he can guard all over the floor and protect the rim.&nbsp; Finishes with pop around the hoop out of the dunker spot, on lobs, and running the floor.&nbsp; High-motor!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2391672' first='Jeffrey' last='Hassan'] (Kaneland)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hassan is the top center in the class.&nbsp; What we like most about him is his rebounding and rim protection.&nbsp; Hassan is a plus athlete that is super active on the glass gobbling up rebounds at a high rate.&nbsp; His instincts and timing on the defensive end is a big time asset as he can block shots straight up or coming off the ball.&nbsp; Switchable in ball screens.&nbsp; On the offensive side runs the floor well, finishes out of dunker spot, and rolls hard to hoop.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2839876' first='Ryan' last='Dinnon'] (Andrew)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dinnon is the first of several perimeter based big men.&nbsp; The Andrew four man is a big time shooter from three that showcased that consistently over the holidays.&nbsp; At 6'7” he has a clean shot with an easy release from beyond the arc making it look like it is going to go in every time.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125637' first='Jacob' last='Fuller'] (Glenbrook South)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fuller is another face up post that is at his best shooting it from distance.&nbsp; Solid athlete that has legit range to beyond the college three point arc.&nbsp; Showing flashes of growth as a rebounder, defensively, and attacking closeouts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125658' first='Kendall' last='Meyers'] (Marist)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Meyers is a skilled four man with a good frame.&nbsp; Sound perimeter shot maker with a feathery stroke.&nbsp; Also like what he brings as a facilitator passing from the high post finding shooters and cutters.&nbsp; Touch around the basket when playing down low.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323618' first='Alex' last='Sirbu'] (Buffalo Grove)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sirbu is among the best pure rebounders in the class.&nbsp; At 6'9” he has adequate size and we like how he rebounds at such a high level in and out of his area.&nbsp; Rim protector defensively.&nbsp; As an offensive threat he catches lobs, hook shots, and has nice spin moves.&nbsp; Runs the floor as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
