Lyons uses his physicality and skill to make things tough on opponents in the South Central Conference. The strong combination guard has helped a young Westfield team to a 4-6 record by averaging 26.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists. He was at his best in a 66-62 win over Markesan, scoring 38 points and getting to the foul line 17 times (making 11). Lyons, who recently surpassed 1,000 career points, is on course to repeat as an all-league performer for the Pioneers.

A quick-on-quick combo guard with speed to burn and aggressiveness on both ends of the court from minute one until minute 36. That sums up Cooks, who is putting up 31.5 points per game so far this winter for the Bay View basketball squad that has won seven of nine games. Cooks scores in bunches, particularly when he's out in transition and can use his speed to zoom past opponents. He can also break down a defense in the half court to either finish with a floater in the lane or find a teammate cutting toward the basket. Cooks also can connect from deep and is especially effective with threes from the baseline area.

Arrowhead is known for turning out stellar basketball teams. Coach Craig Haase's program annually ranks among the best in the state, and the Warhawks came into this season looking to win the Classic Eight Conference crown behind the return of guards [player_tooltip player_id='2351196' first='Blake' last='Basich'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2138537' first='Trey' last='Resch'] along with forward [player_tooltip player_id='2412856' first='Theo' last='Toepel']. While all three of those players have been instrumental in Arrowhead's 10-1 record, the biggest surprise to date has been the play of Rasberry, a 6-foot-9 center who is coming into his own during his final year of prep basketball. The lanky post player is contributing 10.4 points and 7.5 rebounds to the Arrowhead cause. He also leads the team in blocked shots and runs the floor to score in transition exceptionally well.

Playing for his father/coach Andy Low at Lake Country Classical, Low has become the main focus of opposing defenses after he had 31 points and eight three-point baskets in an early season loss to Golda Meir. Despite the attention, Low leads the Sentinels in scoring at 15.9 ppg. His ability to score from deep and from the mid range is a major asset for a program playing an ambitious schedule as a relatively new WIAA member. Low is more of a wing prospect, but he can play the point-guard position in short stints if needed.

The catalyst behind Bay Port's 8-2 start to the season, Ivy is a shifty, quick and aggressive point guard who can get into the lane to score or pop in three-point jump shots. The transfer from Romeoville, Ill., is leading the Pirates in scoring at 17.1 points per game and he also has made the most three-point shots on coach Nate Rykal's talented squad. Ivy is a solid perimeter defender who also is contributing 2.9 rpg and 2.1 apg as the Pirates navigate the tough teams in the Fox River Classic Conference.

Ewert plays at a small, northern Wisconsin school so he's might be off the radar a bit. But his production has lit up the radar screen all winter. Ewert is averaging a double/double for Birchwood at 23.1 ppg and 11.2 rpg. He has helped the Bobcats to a 4-4 record and went for 37 points and 13 rebounds in a recent win over Siren. In addition to his scoring and rebounding, Ewert contributes 3.8 apg and 2.2 spg for coach Alex Gilles' squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='1858222' first='Aiden' last='Crane'] is the big name at Parkview, at least heading into the season that was the case. And while Crane continues to shine for the 10-1 Vikings, another player on the squad has emerged as go-to performer for coach Mary Crane's team. Senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2393140' first='Oliver' last='Friedrich'] is having a monster season for a very good team as he is averaging 24.0 points and 10.0 rebounds after missing last season while recovering from a torn ACL injury. Friedrich's ability to score inside and outside while also dominating the glass are huge reasons for Parkview's fast start to the year.

Finkley can put up points in the blink of an eye and did so at a personal-best level on January 12 in Kingdom Prep Lutheran's victory over Salam. He scored 42 points in the contest and drilled 10 three-point shots for the upstart Wolfpack, who have won six of their first eight contests under first-year coach Chauncey Russell. Finkley is averaging 25.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists and teams with classmate [player_tooltip player_id='2631452' first='Myles' last='Zawacki'] to give Kingdom Prep Lutheran one of the premier one-two scoring punches in the Midwest Classic Conference.

Like so many other newcomers to the Prep Hoops Wisconsin Top 300 for the class of 2026, Hansen is having a sensational season for the Hurricanes of Hayward. The versatile 6-foot-2 senior forward is averaging 22.6 points, 12.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists while leading Hayward to a 6-3 record. He had 34 points and 12 rebounds in a recent victory over Rice Lake and is playing some of the best basketball of any other player in the Heart O'North Conference.

A shooter with size and a strong feel for the game, Breunig is one of the better long-distance shooters in the Badger Small Conference. He can pump in triples on successive possessions and get hot in a hurry. Breunig leads Sauk Prairie in scoring at 17.7 ppg while also contributing 5.7 rpg and 2.5 apg playing against strong competition. Breunig has the size to shoot over smaller defenders and he also is becoming better at taking the ball to the basket when defenders close out too hard on him.
