Fab 4 Sophomores are Core of Up and Coming Peoria Squad

Peoria got the win behind their big four sophomores! They impressed us this summer and are only going to get better as time goes on! At the point [player_tooltip player_id='2834186' first='Nigel' last='Moore'] is a dynamic lefty ball handler with good length. Loves the euro step in the lane and slick takes off the bounce. Creative finisher at the cup that has some passing flair. He had 18 points. Also in the backcourt is [player_tooltip player_id='2389398' first='Orlando' last='Edwards'] Jr who can really pass the rock. Got others involved with his passing along with getting loose in transition for scores netting 12 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2474926' first='Kayden' last='Turner'] is the big three an D wing that can really shoo the ball off the catch along with hitting pull ups. Moves feet on the defensive end guard on the perimeter. High ceiling with his shot making and size as he had 14 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2963387' first='JJ' last='Duffin'] is the final sophomore as the 2028 bouncy forward finishes out of the dunker spot, is a good defender, and rebounds well as he dropped 10 points.

Kitt Great Foundation Piece for Illini

East Peoria star [player_tooltip player_id='2125674' first='Quinton' last='Kitt'] is headed to Illinois as the junior made an early commitment to the Illini. The 2027 wing is a versatile small forward who can fit in almost any lineup at a variety of positions. He is a guy that for his high school team has to be the man, but during the summer you see him stuff the stat sheet doing all the small things in the EYBL. Great size for position along with being able to create his own shot. Hit multiple tough step backs jumpers including turnaround shots. Then he started to attack the cup for and-1s on spinning layups along with getting to the line. He had 24 points while doing a nice job on the glass as well. His running mate Cole Dubois knocked in a couple of deep threes en route to 10 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2632017' first='Kaylen' last='Hardy'] was tough on the interior recording multiple put backs for 6 points.

Unheralded Seniors on Each Side

[player_tooltip player_id='2734391' first='Fenix' last='Foy'] is the glue guy for Peoria. The strong and physical big man is tough on the glass, converts out of the dunker spot consistently, and has a nice combination of touch along with toughness on the offensive end as he had 8 points. Jackson Ahrens had a big game for East Peoria. The 6'1” point guard will be playing baseball in college, but he can hoop too! The guard poured in pull ups from two and three while sneaking in for second chance points on the glass. Also had several nice passes on the move. Went for 19 points.
