Morris County Tournament Guards to Watch

The back court play will be the key to winning the tournament and will be put on display during the county tournament. Here are the guards to watch during the Morris County Tournament.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1943569' first='Donnie' last='Gregory'], 6'4 SG/PG Morris Catholic 2026</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2342640' first='Austin' last='Workman']</strong> has been playing at a high level all season for the Crusaders, but Gregory's impact cannot be understated. The 6'4 guard has a good release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Gregory is more than just a shooter as he can also get into the paint off the bounce and finishes well around the rim. He is an underrated passer and uses his length to make plays on the defensive end. The Ithaca commit has a smooth shooting stroke as he wastes little motion and can knock down triples in bunches. Randall attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of drawing contact. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and plays with a nonstop motor. The 6'3 guard has a good first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finishes well around the rim. Jarrell has a good touch in the mid-range and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He pushes the pace well in transition and is a strong rebounder. The 6'1 guard has a clean release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Ferrare is more than just a shooter as he can also get into the lane off the bounce and moves well without the ball in his hands. He is an underrated passer and slides his feet on the defensive end. The 6'0 guard has a good shooting stroke and shoots the ball with confidence from behind the arc. Kolakowski moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He rarely forces shots in the half court and gets deflections on the defensive end.
