Kolakowski is at his best as a catch and shoot threat, actively hunting opportunities from beyond the arc but also showcased his ability to be just as dangerous as a shot maker from the perimeter off the bounce. Kolakowski’s shot making prowess features a compact and repeatable shooting release, along side deep shooting range accuracy.

An overall versatile shot maker, Kolakowski mixed up his scoring attack converting on a number of tough off the dribble threes while also excelling as a spot up shooter off the ball. Kolakowski also proved to be an effective movement shooter, converting on looks that saw him come pin downs. Complementing his three point shooting ability, Kolakowski also mixed in a couple strong rim finishes, even with his off hand too.

He consistently punished opposing defenses for late closeouts and excelled at making the most of his opportunities to shoot the three ball without forcing the action, playing well within himself over the course of the May live period.

Kolakowski was a frequent dead-eye from beyond the arc converting on several chances. He has a green light release, and if his feet are set good luck!! He also moved the ball to his teammates and didn’t let the ball stick to his hands. Kolakowski had a successful trip to the foul line.

Kolakowski thrives off the catch as a shooter and hunts his shot from three point range. An excellent off ball player, not only does Kolakowski excel as a perimeter shooter but also excels as a cutter in halfcourt sets. As we approach the May live period, look for Kolakowski to continue shine in his abilities to not only be an excellent off ball threat but also in his ability to do some of the dirty work in crashing the boards and pressuring the ball out on the perimeter.

An intriguing addition to Geo Baker’s 16U squad, Austin Kolakowski Austin Kolakowski 6'0" | SG/PG Delbarton | 2027 State NJ will look to provide a lethal perimeter shooting ability to the GB Blue Devils’ backcourt. Coming off a strong sophomore season that saw him bury threes, from deep range too, night in and night out, look for Kolakowski to expand his offensive skillset as a playmaker and become a more well rounded guard going into HGAL play.
