After a growth spurt and breakout season last year as a sophomore, Kellen has looked the part of one of the more intriguing prospects in the state's 2027 class. Now as a junior he's turning that long-term potential into consistent production. In a win over Providence Academy Kellen poured in 25 points despite playing limited minutes. Troup showcased soft shooting touch with a couple of threes and a nice mid-range jumper curling off a screen. He was a pick & roll lob threat, and ran the floor like a gazelle in transition. Showcased his explosiveness by altering a handful of shots inside and throwing down three dunks throughout the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2416947' first='Ayden' last='Green'] the player setting up a big chunk of Troup's 25 points for Minnehaha. The junior point guard continued his breakout season after transferring from Breck, showcasing impressive vision on the ball. He showcased a shifty handle to get by his initial defender, and once in the lane was able to set up his forwards with quality looks. Ayden could deliver an accurate lob over the top, or thread the needle with a quick bounce pass in traffic. Knocked down a few jumpers as well on his way to 15 points.

Hopkins got off to a rough start this season, but a strong second half helped them come away with a statement win over Maple Grove on Tuesday. The UND commit wanted the ball in his hands late, driving to the rack for a pair of finishes while also converting on two free throws in the last two minuets of the game. He continued to show the smart decision making on the ball that has had him playing varsity basketball since 7th grade, able to read the defense and locate an open teammate from anywhere on the floor. Jayden put together an 18 point/10 assist double-double in the win.

At 6 ppg Kyree may not be putting up eye-catching numbers on offense, but his defensive performances have been key for Hopkins this year. I thought he did a great job of forcing difficult looks out of Babou Ann throughout the game, making everything difficult for Maple Grove's leading scorer. At 6'4 he can put a lot of length on guys, and moves well laterally to cover a lot of ground. He also came up with a steal and dunk in the second half that gave his team a big boost of momentum heading into the final stretch of the game. Nelson finished with 11 points and 2 steals in the win.

In a blowout win against Prairie Seeds, the 6'4 freshman was able to get some big minutes on the floor. Despite a clear mismatch, we still got to see some of the physical tools that make Cody an intriguing prospect in the 2029 class. He had some strong takes to the rim, showcasing an explosive burst that only a few players in his class can match. He rebounded hard, and was the player applying pressure to Prairie Seeds' point guard the length of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560534' first='Tre' last='Moore'] was all over the floor defensively for Hopkins. Even when matched up against a D1 point guard commit, Tre's ball pressure was suffocating. The sophomore guard was able to come up with 7 steals, and most of those ended up leading to two points going the other way. Even when he looked to be suffering with cramps over the last few minutes of the game, Tre came up with some big plays defensively, including a steal and score when out on an island defending 94 feet. I really like the energy that Tre comes in and plays with off the bench.

Mekhi showcased his potential off the bench in a win for Minnehaha Academy on Monday night. If he caught the ball anywhere near the basket, he was likely finding a way to power up for two points. Even when guarded by similar size, Mekhi showed the patience to gather his balance, and the strength to go up and finish through some contact. Showed good hands catching some difficult passes in traffic as well. Abner finished with 14 points on 6-7 shooting.
