Rogers sparked a second-half comeback with his effort, energy and ability to get paint touches and collapse the defense. The 5-foot-9 left-handed point guard is lightning quick and crafty off the bounce and his on-ball defensive pressure disrupted the rhythm of the Laguna Hills offense. Not only did the sophomore score 14 points but he also dished out four assists and three steals to round-out his multi-category impact.

[player_tooltip player_id='2131799' first='Nana' last='Ofoegbu'] | 2026 | Long Beach Poly

Ofoegbu's impact doesn't always show up in the stat sheet but he is one of the region's best perimeter and point of attack defenders. The 6-foot senior has a unique combination of instincts, quickness and physicality that allows him to keep the ball in front of him, disrupt the timing of the opponent and generate turnovers with his pressure and anticipation in passing lanes. Ofoegbu scored eight points with five assists in the Jackrabbits big win over Mayfair.

[player_tooltip player_id='3288793' first='Oliver' last='Kullamae'] | 2026 | SoCal Academy

Kullamae put on the best passing performance of the day as he dished out 15 assists in a variety of ways in a win over Bella Vista Prep Grind. The 6-foot-2 combo guard forces defenders to close out hard which allows him to attack those, get paint touches and kick to open shooters, find cutters or throw lobs to big men. Kullamae also showed impressive feel in ball screen action where he made the right reads and delivered timely and on-target to his teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='3046527' first='Phillip' last='Reed'] | 2029 | Palisades

Reed is near the top of the list of the talented freshman class in SoCal. The 6-foot-2 point guard uses his combination of physicality, athleticism, pace and feel for the game to impact the game on both sides of the floor. Reed has the ability to score in bunches from all over the floor but is also a hard-nosed defender and steady playmaker and decision-maker. The 2029 prospect scored 12 points, dished out six assists and had seven steals in Palisades' win over St. Paul.

[player_tooltip player_id='1845363' first='Rajan' last='Roberts'] | 2026 | AZ Compass Prep

Roberts came off the bench for Compass Prep and his energy, effort and sheer physical play and tough-minded approach to the game was evident from the minute he stepped on the floor. The Valparaiso-signee is a gritty on-ball defender whose strong frame and length allow him to keep defenders out of the paint, tip passes and pick pockets for steals which lead to transition baskets. Roberts finished with 13 points, four assists and six steals in a win over The Wilson Academy (GA).

Zach Arnold | 2029 | San Gabriel Academy

Arnold is generating a lot of buzz with his feel and savvy for the game despite being just a freshman. The 5-foot-10 point guard has the ball on a string and that, combined with his crafty ball handling and changes of speed and direction, allow him to manipulate defenders and create for himself and teammates in half-court and transition offense. Arnold can score and distribute when needed and finished with 19 points and three assists in SGA's win over Fairmont Prep.
