Our staff has seen more games across the state than anyone this season so far! With that we have gathered a ton of new names that emerged! Here are the top point guards making their rankings debut!

[player_tooltip player_id='2962335' first='Phillip' last='Jones'] (East St. Louis)

Jones is a 6'0” scoring lead guard that loves to attack the defense. Gets downhill for acrobatic finishes, has a sweet pull up game from two and three, and is a solid passer. Dropped 23 points against Principia when we saw him at Highland.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532344' first='London' last='Rome'] (Whitney Young)

Rome is one to watch moving forward for the Dolphins. The 6'1” guard plays taller with his length. Connective passer, potential as a shot maker, and competes on D.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125615' first='Dion' last='Lane'] (Evanston)

Lane burst on our radar during the first half of the season as a 5'11” guard that pushes the tempo and loves to get in the lane. Creative ball handler that consistently finishes with nifty moves in the paint. Good in transition going coast to coast.

[player_tooltip player_id='2620864' first='Sidy' last='Doumbouya'] (Lycee Francias)

Sleeper guard from small school in Chicago. Like the length and size at 6'1” with projectability. Slick handles slicing through the lane and dishes off live dribbles.

[player_tooltip player_id='3427281' first='Blake' last='Ragsdale'] (Lyons)

Ragsdale will be playing baseball at a high level in college, but he is definitely worthy of being ranked. The 5'11” lead guard is a spark for Lyons off the bench with his ability to get to the rack and foul line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2431475' first='David' last='Udoiwod'] (Geneva)

Udoiwod has been on a tear as of late for Geneva. The junior has stepped up notching 21 points a game in four big early January games.

[player_tooltip player_id='3427287' first='Aiden' last='Henderson'] (Brother Rice)

The younger brother of former top prospect Ahmad Henderson has shown flashes for Brother Rice this year. At 5'10” he brings a lot of grit and tenacity to the table. Float game, rebounds for a guard, and pushes pace.

[player_tooltip player_id='3427358' first='Javier' last='Cass'] (Granite City)

Cass caught our attention in the auxiliary gym at the Prairie Farms Tournament in late December where he was in all out attack mode. The junior lead guard won off the dribble throughout the game on a consistent basis scoring or getting fouled.
