Dion Lane Dion Lane 5'10" | PG Evanston | 2027 State IL Jr. showed his relentless motor on both offense and defense in a dominating 55-36 win over DePaul Prep and close 73-64 loss against East St. Louis. An undersized guard, Lane Jr. played bigger than his size, securing multiple steals in traffic, pulling up with a consistently smooth jumpshot, and creating opportunities for his teammates, especially when attacking the lane and kicking out to open shooters. Lane Jr. showed great court vision and ability to be a “court general” alongside a noticeable toughness and hustle on defense, making him a special player to watch.

Lane is an emerging 2027 name as well. Slick ball handler that has juice getting to the cup on straight line takes and in transition. Poured in three triples as well being a plus shooter off the catch. Crafty defender with quick hands. He had 17 points.
