Jones shined at Lindenwood and then matched that play again at RB. Elite burst and athleticism with the rock in his hands. He is a blur with the ball using his burst to score in the lane. Also caught multiple lobs off baseline out of bounds plays. Crisp shooter from two and three both pulling up and off the catch. Pesky defender on the ball. One of the best players in the metro east heading into the season.

East St Louis guard has a strong physical guild and showed he can really change the tempo vs Bolingbrook. Does not fear larger defenders as he found his way on the inside quite a bit against Bolingbrook. Also showing he can finish with both hands in tight windows. Then showed some bouncy with a put-back dunk while snagging tough boards on both ends. Probably one of the best rebounding guards I’ve covered in his class.

Jones is a junior guard who has elevated his stock with a strong second half to the season. Quick off the bounce living in the lane for spinning layups, turnaround jumpers, and athletic finishes. What also really impressed us in this game was his vision finding guys off live dribbles on a consistent basis as he notched 8 points in the win. Has helium heading into spring!
