Kyler’s Friday Night Player Takeaways

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In arguably the biggest game of the night, two of the top teams in Class 4A with the 9-0 Carmel Greyhounds hosting the 12-1 Plainfield Quakers. Both of these teams have a legit chance to make a deep postseason run, and the winner of this one was able to grab some huge momentum as the season rolls on. With my fellow Prep Hoops Indiana staff covering other parts of the state, I was able to be at Carmel to witness this high profile game. Finishing with 15 points for Plainfield, the DePaul signee was just always there to make a big play with the Quakers needed him to. He finished with a game-high 24 points scoring all over the place and just had answer after answer to anything Carmel threw at him. The shorter yet very stocky guard made some tough plays throughout the game on both ends of the floor including some big time shots in the earlier parts of the game. He ended up with 12 points leading Carmel in scoring getting all of his buckets from behind the arc. The Bellermine signee ended up with 9 points and a whole mess of rebounds.
